Can anyone tell me how to break into this? I would like to know more about jobs that involve filling out claim forms at home. Can anyone give me any tips on where to go and how much income can be made reasonably doing this type of work? Also, do you need experience? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Angel

Now don't ask me the specifics of this because I don't know. I just know that Aetna does hire at home....and if you read the bottom it tells you this can be an at home position.

I would just call them and get the details on this. Put "Work from home" in the keywords section of the job search and you will find some that list that at the bottom.

Hope this helps in some way.

God Bless!

You must have training. It is not as easy as it seems. You must have knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes. The books are very expensive and there are hundreds if not thousands of codes. The program to use for the computer also is very expensive unless the company you work for already has the program. With out that it would take too much time to know and look up all the codes if you can't read the doctors notes.
I did it for several years but not on a regular basis. You mustalways keep up on the latest codes and procedures.
9 times out of ten you have to also get your own clients unless you work for a doctors office or a clinic or hospital and you must have training.

No matter what those companies say that try to sell you the courses for hundreds of dollars very, very few ever help you get clients. I know people that have paid hundreds of dollars and they won't even return your calls after you have paid them.
