Hi Kitt,
Yes, that is my little pitbull baby! He is only 3 months in that picture but he is the biggest baby in the whole wide world. I guess that is why I named him "Baby"

I just *new* that had to be a staffy! My gal Pennels is eight years old and I
adopted her all the way from South Africa when she was a pup.
I'm convinced that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are actually ANGELS in
DISGUISE!smileys/smiley36.gifAren't they the best?!
Baby makes a great mascot!smileys/smiley2.gif

I am glad to see I am not the only one!smileys/smiley17.gif

Very cute, Nat! I see you are a fellow animal lover! I love animals! My friends tease me that I will become one of those "cat women". I only have three, but I have a hard time saying no when a new pet needs a home - lol. OOHH There is a cardinal in by bird feeder right now and it looks so beautiful against the white snow!
As far as my goals - My first goal is to sit down and write my goalssmileys/smiley36.gif.
Here are a few I am thinking of off the top of my head:
I need to organize my desk (I was hoping for a computer armoire from Santa, buthe didn't bring me one)
I need to organize all my reciepts for tax time
I need to work on following up with some customers/potential recruits
Develope a team training strategy for new recruits
I need to work on a January newsletter and decide when to have my open house
I plan on researching advertising prices
I need topre-make my sample packets - I did this last time and it saved a ton of time.
I got an organizing book for Christmas (I picked it out and dh laughed and said that "yes this is for you" lol) and I think it will help organize everything, including the house.

Speaking of sample packets....
How do you girls prefer to grind up your votives for your sampler baggies?
With a hand grater?
In the food processor?
My monster-in-law ( smileys/smiley36.gif) got me a mini food chopper for christmas and I already have a full sized one. Figured it could be put to good use for that...
I was just being nosy and wondering how you all did it.
:) Emily

Hi, Emily, I was grinding them in a cheese grater that looked like a pepper grinder, but found that using a hammer was faster and made even less mess. Plus is is great therapy - the kids love it too

Hi Emily,
I actually bought the Deluxe Cheese grater and container from Pampered Cheffor my votives. It is so nice. I need to try the hammer technique.
Many Blessings,
Natalie

Hi emily, I use a food chopper and it takes like one minute. it makes it real soft and I so far have no problems with it. I got it at walmart awhile ago, its the real small one. its real quick.

I simply place a votive between two pieces of wax paper and crush it. Primitive, I know. smileys/smiley36.gif

FYI - the hammer trick is fast, no mess and kid friendly! Just put a magazine down and hammer lightly! Does the trick in about 10 seconds and NO CLEAN up. I put it in a plastic bag first!

Hi everyone. I have not posted in a few days or so, not enough time in the day for everything. Here goes my goals that I have thought of off the top of my head a few min. ago.
1. Lose 70 pounds
2. Make Mia Bella a known name in the town I live in
3. Recruit, recruit, recruit
4. Income--Make at least 1/2 of what my f/t job pays per month
5. Do at least 3 events (expos)
6. Do at least 3 fundraisers
I guess that about sums it up for right now. I am sure that as the year goes on I will add to the list.
