I wonder if anyone else has experienced problems with the scrubs leaking. It seems that no matter what I'd have - be it Ginger Citrus, Awaken, etc., the tubs always leaked. I'm not saying they'd leak alot, but enough where the tubs themselves end up feeling oily and slick. In a few cases, I called Arbonne to tell them about my experience and they've sent me replacements (which have done something similar) soI'm guessing it's just the nature of the product. I don't feel good though about selling and delivering product this way. Has anyone else had problems?????

The scrubs haven't leaked for me until I open them. I used to take with me on one on ones until one leaked on one of my gold bags! Now I usually take one of the small sea salts & give to them when they try the re9 set. It's not a problem for personal use since I keep in the shower - but definately wouldn't want to travel with one! (unless I put it in a baggie, but then yuck all inside the baggie)

Yes, it is one of my biggest complaints. I think it is just the nature of the oils! They find a way to get out! I think if enough consultants contact arbonne, maybe they can adjust the packaging of the scrubs. I agree that it is a messy way to deliver products.

I have never had a problem with any of the scrubs until I open them. Oil can penetrate through a lot, so no matter how tight you put something on, it may still come through. A good example is that I always take oil and vinegar for salad dressing in my lunch...in a tupperware container. the oil always seems to come out....especially if the container is tipped or anything of that nature.
I don't think there is much Arbonne can do.

HI
I got a tip from one of my consultants to make sure to wipe out the grooves to get all the salt out of there, because it can make gaps in the seal for the oil to leak out. Dont know if it solves it totally, but it helps.
Also, I have been using little plastic containers to put a sample of the salt scrub in my REsults set, I got them from Paron Business Aids. I put it in a ziplock just in case, but it has never leaked. I also use them when I am traveling and just can't live without my Salt Scrub!!smileys/smiley17.gif

I dont have the product yet, but my experiance with any oils, baby oil to suntan oil, is it leaks. Something I do is take a piece of saran wrap an lay over the top, then put the lid on. I guess it make an extra barrier. Maybe this will help?

I don't think we are supposed to be "re-packaging" any of the products. I would be careful with that, as it compromises the products.

We are not supposed to repackage for sale as stated in the policy handbook. My VP has no problem with us making a sample for a customer if it is something for which Arbonne doesn't provide samples.
When they were out of Thermal Fusion Masque samples for about 2 months, I made my own with little paint pots, squeezed direct into them from the tube, sealed it right up, and gave it to my customers that way. I sold several masques after people tried them. I also learned from one of the learn and burns by one of the top VPs about making little sachets with the bath salts and tulle circles, tying a ribbon around them for guest to take home. I don't see making a small sample of the salt scrub any differently.
I think it is a great way to let them try before they buy, and it is a lot more sanitary than dipping into the big scrub over and over at a class or trade show, because no matter how careful you are, chances are, if you touch the back of someone's hand with the scrub, or even your own hand going in and out of the tub several times could contaminate it. My first party I went to, the consultant, who was a friend of mine, just brought her own salt scrub from her shower, of course, we were all friends, but it is kind of gross. Making the samples from a brand new never used salt scrub is better, IMO. I can't afford to give everyone a small size salt scrub. Wish I could, but I can't!
If I were making the samples and then selling them at a trade show for 50 cents a piece or something, that is not allowed.
