How far ahead of a class do you mail invitations?
Do you always ask for RSVP? If so, and you are the sponsor helping a new BB do a class for someone else, who do you have guests RSVP to ... you, the BB or the hostess?

I mail invitiations about 10 days before a class. I have the host call before I send them out and have them RSVP to the host. That way the host can give me a head count a few days before, and I can pre-profile the guests who are planning to attend.

I also send a Evite too. Sometimes if I cannot get a hold of someone to remind them, they will have a reminder in their email.
I used to not do send the Evite too, but a couple of the clients have told me that Evite is sometimes the only thing that reminds them.

Marissa - The evite sounds like a good idea. Do you design it yourself or use something pre-formatted?

I design it myself, but there are some good templets too.
