Hi there. I know they havea fewgames at www.PartyPlanCompanies.com (http://www.PartyPlanCompanies.com). I have a few on my site too at www.SanDiegoScrapper.com (http://www.SanDiegoScrapper.com). You have to enter the Forum to see the games there. Please excuse the out of date information. I've been a bit discouraged lately and since I've known about Taste of Home Entertaining I've kind of let it get way out of date.
I'm sure that if you Google Party Plan Game ro something similar you'll find other sites.
I look forward to seeing what everyone else has too. Edited by: BrendaLP

When I was doing parties on a regular basis, I would not play games but I did a fun little thing with the guests. They would all gather together and I would have them go around the room and share something special about the hostess. Once everyone had said something about the hostess, I presented her with her gift for holding a party for me. They thought it was a nice change from the games and it made the hostess feel great.

I have heard that the thread game is cute! It might be listed on one of those sites...but I will tell everyone anyways.
You takea spool of thread and some scissors...pass it around and have everyone cut off a piece of thread. If they ask how much, do not tell them, this is part of the game. (If I know women they will have done the toliet paper game for babyshowers to see if they get the one that fits around the pg lady, so you may have some that get tons). So after everyone has gotten theres, you take it and cut off a piece. You will know how long, because you will have practiced at home.
So what you do is tell them that they have to talk about themselves for as long as it takes them to wrap the tread around a finger. Some may take a long time....as they will not have known how much thread to take. You start the game and show them what you mean.
I read that somewhere and thought it would be a great ice breaker, getting to know everyone and make them laugh and feel at ease as well.

Thanks Frances. That's a great one to add to my game list. I love this because it will give me a chance to listen and see if there are any "clues" in what they say that will help me figure out what they might be interested in hearing about.

I thought it was pretty cute myself. A good way to let people meet that do not know each other too. So many parties are of mixed groups of friends but they do not all know each other.

Hi Ameri-Girl!
How's your new biz with Bittersweet going so far? Here's a favorite game
I use to start off my tea tasting parties, and I think it would work well for
scented candle parties, too!
As guests are arriving and you are handing out your guest packets, have
them look through the list of scents and find one that starts with the
same letter as their name. Then, when you do introductions, go from
person to person and have them announce their name and the candle
scent. This is fun, and a novel way to go around and get everyone's
names. It also gets everyone focused on the products right away, and
gives you the chance to make comments about different fragrances. You
will hear comments from guests as the scents are listed off, so keep a
mental note of what people get excited about so you can follow up with
them! (For example, if one guest seems to be excited about or love all of
the scents, talk to her when you are going over her order, "I noticed that
you really enjoyed almost all of the scents we talked about today! If you
are a candle lover, I bet you would be great at this job!"
Best of luck with Bittersweet, and let us know how things are going once
you start doing parties!
