For those of you working SP and another business. How are you doing it? Do you market together (handing out both business cards, etc.) or market based on the type of customer?

I KNOW THIS IS A LITTLE OFF TOPIC...please forgive me.

Well I personally decided to focus completely on Soul Purpose and just be a customer of the other company I was with. I feel that it is possible to work another business and market them both, but some people have their foot in 4,5,6,7 or more businesses within the network marketing industry and that to me is just plain crazy. I mean with all the training calls, meetings, materials,sometimes inventoryto buy, etc. I am not sure how they have time for anything else in their lives.

I have never known of anybody (even many industry leaders will say the same thing) who made it to the top of more than one NWM company at the same time.

I just feel though that unless you have a brick and mortar business you have already invested your time (and money) in and are using Soul Purpose as an addition to your business, it just makes more sense to focus solely on Soul Purpose for at least 1 year. But that is just my own humble opinion, I know many who are with other NWM companies and respect that.

The thing about SP it's like we joined 2 companies for the price of one anyway with being able to also offer Youngevity's products. Plus, with a compensation plan like ours, I believe I (and we) will do just fine. I am not looking to be a millionaire, I just want I and my family to be able to be o.k. financially, instead of having to struggle through life. Edited by: all4soulpurpose

Perhaps in your marketing you could say your are a Lifestyle expert and you could offer romance as part of the services you offer. Or do a 2 sided business card and have your marketing materials reflect all the services you offer, Lifestyle Parties, Pampering Retreats, Intimacy Classes-Wild or Mild, Just some brainstorming.

I found it really difficult to do 2 network marketing plans. I felt that if I was working one, I was neglecting the other. I agree with Tanya though, I had to really think about this one. I am a jewelry designer. I love making & selling jewelry but the investment of buying supplies, purchasing vending space and spending all weekend in hot, muggy weather as compared to doing the same thing with Soul Purpose, my return would be much better down the line. In one year's time, with the same efforts in my jewelry biz, I could do ah-ight, The same efforts in SP could produce phenomenal results, so after much thought, jewelry is going to hobby level for 1 year. I will maintain my current customers and such but the marketing efforts and marketing dollars will be transferred to SP for the time being.
This has just been my experience but I heard others say that it may not be wise to try to build a team for 2 network marketing biz's. In fact its against co. policy to do so in some companies. HTH

Robin, I am one of those people that have a few other businesses besides Soul Purpose. It is very much possible to do more than one business, but you have to decide which one will be primary or which one will you give more attention to.
For me, Soul Purpose has so much potential...I love the ground floor opportunity. I was in so many businesses before, and most of them flopped or just over-promised and under-delivered. I am happy with my situation now. I don't have to hit any quotas except with SP so that makes my choice even easier. And...I only have to hit quotas if I want to make money in the business (and who wants to leave money on the table!?!).
Because I am a Realtor, I am with a couple of companies for the great discount (for closing gifts), and with companies such as Little Black Dress (jewelry), Beijo handbags, and Traverus because I do "Bling Your Body Parties". Soul Purpose is the pampering aspect of those parties.
I won't tell anyone that it is impossible to do more than one business...especially Pure Romance and Soul Purpose (they can go hand in hand), but it could be a challenge, especially if you want to be a leader in both businesses. One of my best friends, who is also on this board, just made National Executive in Traverus and is doing really good with Soul Purpose and Lia Sophia. She also does pampering parties (Girlfriend Pampering Parties). It's just a matter of how dedicated you are, and what your end goals are.
I love to empower women financially, spiritually, and physically, so as of this moment I am happy with what I have decided to do. SP has a great comp plan, and like Tanya said, we joined 2 businesses for the price of 1.

Tanya, I am like you, I don't have to be a millionaire...I just want to get out of debt and live comfortably and have peace of mind. I think, no, I know we can do that with SP.

Oh, and Robin, the way I have been handling it is by having all of my businesses on one business card (VistaPrint). I conglomerated all of my businesses into an umbrella of one business called "Bling Your Body" featuring Silver Spoon Lifestyle Parties. I then list each business individually:

Sholanda I just love you. =) I really, truly believe anything is possible.
I am a believer in mulitple streams, but I agree that we should focus on one, and the others a realistic assessment of where we are to go with that other business.

When I decided to go in business for myself, after joining 5 gazillion companies, I said I would do what I love if it wasn't a business. And because of that, I have been able to do so without struggling. I have too much fun.

I don't like to feel as though I'm boasting...but I am the one that Sholanda is talking about. I made National Executive (a huge thing - $500 monthly car bonus, and leadership huge leadership position) in TraVerus. I love travel,my family does all the time.

I love purses, and Soul Purpose products and Jewelry. So like Sholanda I put those under one umbrella and am establishing my own brand, Love2Pamper by MsKeisha... - I do the Girlfriend Pamper Parties b/c women LOVE IT. I had a couple of party mishaps...but I have 2 more parties this month in Germany. and one confirmed in VA when I fly there end of this month. Pamper parties for ME are easy b/c you are spoiling women. They love it. I love it. I love the whole set up process. One of my passions is music so I love picking out music...it's just a great experience. I love to see how empowered, and uplifted my guests get when they are relaxed.

Lastly, I also help people market their product/service/business online. I love to help others, I am obsessed with being online, so this came naturally. I don't do this myself. I work very closely with my mentor/marketing guru. He is teaching me and I am in turn going to teach others.

That said, I don't know if I'll make it to the top. I also don't know anyone personally that are high in multiple things at the same time. If I get there it's icing. I just work my business have fun, and try to bless others with the opportunity. I just try not to lose focus. =)

For me success is full circle: love, happiness, physical well being, a healthy happy family, spiritual peace and financial freedom. And if I can bless others with what I offer, that's awesome.

I will say the ladies for my party on the 14th are excited about Soul Purpose!

I think Tanya's Team Soul Purpose site maybe also Moonfruit, as well as our Soul Purpose Team site elitesuccesssystem.com. I actually found out about Moonfruit by another Soul Purpose's reps site!

There are many different options. I paid for the $39 yearly option, then upgraded to the $79 package...cool thing about that was that you only pay the difference, not an additional $79.

I LOVE Moonfruit, because it has Site Builder, and you can do sooooo many things with it; you are limited only by your creativity/imagination.

Only thing I wish Moonfruit would have is HTML. There stuff is primarily flash. If they had HTML it would be easier to add banners and other stuff. But you can work around it.

Oh...I might be wrong but I think our Soul Purpose site will be $9.95 a month. If it is, that is awesome. The way that site is made it's worth more than that, but I can't wait to get it!
