Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you insurance experts would be able to offer me some advice! I am starting my own event planning business from home and I would like to know what types of insurance I need to take out. I am only planning on working from home and I wont have any employees it will just be me. So I am under the impression that all I will really require is Public and Products Liability insurance just in case I cause an accident or something goes wrong that was my fault....http://www.party411.com/YaBBImages/huh.gif? What does everyone else that work from home do? Thanks http://www.party411.com/YaBBImages/smiley.gif

Dear Leila14,
Your best bet is to contact a local Insurance Agent
wether state, or within your city who does property&casualty, possibly the Agent who does your car or home, they can give you a free estimate or refer you to someone who can quote you professional or small business liability.
Good Luck with your business.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

You definately need liabilty insurance on the business. That may be enough. Other wise look into covering your Life and may be accident insurance.
