I have been thinking about getting into Health Insurance - I am already Life/Health licensed and have worked in the field as a Life agent, Mortgage protection agent, etc. I want to specifically target small businesses and the self-insured. The company that I contacted seems to have a monopoly in my area and are very selective with who they hire. So, does anyone know of any companies that specifically target these groups?
The company I referred to earlier is IPA-america. I got nowhere with them.

Have you heard of AFLAC. I am a Liscensed Life/ Health agent with them and its been great. If you give me the city and state where you live I can see if I can find an office in your area If you are interested.

I just went to the website for AFLAC, I just called the 800 number and left my info. Do you know if the training and certification is something they provide or you have to have upfront and if so, could you tell me how much the certification and classes start. You can pm me. Anyone else who have the info feel free to leave me a message as well, TIA.

AFLAC provides a training at no cost however you do have to attend a class to take the test to become a liscense agent. I can give you my Regional Managers information if you like. Let me know

I never got a message from her, I did leave her another message just to make sure I gave her the correct numbers. Thanks so much, a regional agent called me yesterday to set up an interview on the 7th of Aug.
