How cool is that Lori! Kitt are you a teacher??? Just about my entire family has teaching in their blood! I hold (most) teachers in extremely high regard- the work they do amazes me and you can just sense the ones that truly care and want to make a difference in the life of a child.


My mother helped two of my sisters with the pre-school they built from the ground up and eventually turned into 5 schools plus pre-K (nationally accredited). One of those sisters went on to continue her education and now has a PhEd. She's a teacher of teachers and has done the major work with the curriculum in two different universities now!


As for me... I managed teaching in their pre-schools for about 2 years then came back to Florida smileys/smiley36.gifThat's about all the teaching I could handle smileys/smiley36.gif

Hi Sandy!

Yes, I recently completed my master's degree in special education. I
taught
both high school and primary school settings up until my daughter was
born. This is one of the countless reasons why my job with Scent-Sations
is
so perfect for me! I am still able to involve myself with the public school
district while staying home with my daughter (fundraising) and I also still
get
to wear my "teacher hat" to a certain extent (Sponsoring).

Who could ask for a more perfect fit?!!

The only drawback is that I love the candles so darned much I have a hard
time NOT BURNING my merchandise!!! LOL! smileys/smiley36.gif

I am praying that I will be able to make it to spring fling- I can barely
stand the thought of how much FUN it will be, and what a great

OOOh Kit you are one of the special teachers with the special ed kids. My son is in those classes as well so I can only imagine the dedication you have to these kids. His teacher last year was *the one* that could really reach him well and I wish he could have stayed with her.


As for burning the inventory - guilty as charged! I've got the Apple Berry Cobbler going since just after Christmas and OMG I just LOVED walking outside for whatever reason and opening my front door again and smelling COBBLER...... it smelled like I had the dessertbaking constantly! smileys/smiley36.gif

Deb's placing coconut lime and appleberry cobbler on herburn list! Yumm! I prefer food scents and haven't yet burned those.


Has anyone burned Sex on the Beach yet? I love that scent too, but haven't burned it yet.
