I have a question for everyone.
I just recently lost my job. I have a two year old little girland between her and my doctor appointments (right now i am 6 months pregnant)they just had to let me go.smileys/smiley5.gifMy husband works full time... but we need all the money we can get right now.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any "GOOD" at home jobs!! I am in desperate need right now. If anyone does please let me know... thanks so much!!

There are many jobs in this forum. I'm going to be honest. It may not be easy finding something right away. You have to access your situation. Can you do phone work. Do you have a landline or skype or some other sort of phone equipment? Do you have the quiet time to begin working. If you do, there are lots available. Is your resume updated?

I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through. I know it may seem tough. Just know that God does not bring your way nothing He can't help you through. So even though money seems tight, something will come through for you. You just have to be persistent and not give up.

In the meantime of applying different places to land something concrete, I would do odds and ends.

You can sell on amazon or ebay, do garage sale for a quick buck. You can babysite someone's child while you are taking care of yours. (may or may not be difficult since you are pregnant). You can write.
There are tons and tons of freelance writing jobs out there. And most of them you can get with little to no experience. Same for transcription.

You can also outsource yourself online or in your local area. I've been going on different boards and freelance site and advertising my service.

You can also go to ratracerebellion.com and search their job lead list. They also have jobs in difference categories on the left hand side of the page.

And last but not least, employers do hire again. Sometimes I search for a key term such as research or data entry and unless it was something on craigslist that is out of date then I go ahead and apply anyway. You don't have to wait to see a job listing again before applying. You never know when you'll get in.

I know that's a lot of info. But good luck and keep the faith.

Hello I am a stay at home mom of a 1 ½ yr old boy and I found a way of making money online through freebie websites. You do not have to sell anything or make cold calls and you can even work around your schedule. I could give you more information if you are interested just pm me or email me.

Hello Kacie,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you in your situation. I truly understand. My daughter and her husband are both out of jobs, and expecting their second set of twins the first week of June ... but I sing praises to the good Lord because I know He will make a way. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Family and friends have helped out beautifully and will continue to keep them encouraged.

To support other posts by saying, yes, there are many good sources to find "GOOD" home jobs, and I do understand your desperation ... but I'd like to ask if there is something specific you arelooking for or are interested in? Knowing that shouldhelp the board provide better job leads for you.

Take care, and I pray the best for you and your family.

Kacie,

I know how you are feeling, and with the new baby coming, you probably are feeling a little more worried. Just remember that somehow things seem to balance out, and you will be able to get through.

Try to find things you are interested in and look around for jobs that would interest you. And, I agree with what others have said - it won't happen overnight that you will find the perfect work you can do at home and start making good money.

But, don't be afraid to try things you might not have thought you could do. I make money doing freelance writing jobs online, and I never thought I would be able to be much of a writer (which apparently you don't need to be when doing some of the writing jobs onlinesmileys/smiley1.gif). But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone a bit and give it a try.

Good luck, and don't let the worry of everything else take away from the excitement of that new baby that you have on the way!

Marie
