Hi,

I have been looking into Mia Bella for a few months now. I think that it is something I want to do but need to know where to begin? I know that they are several ways in which to build this business but I want to focus on fundrasing and sales.

My questions are this:

1. How long does it usually take to get a fundrasier started?

2. With retailing the product, can I sell stores and shops?

3. What training is provided for me in order to get started?

TIA

Actually, I'll just post here in case others were wondering the same...

1. How long does it usually take to get a fundrasier started?
If you are already involved in a Church, youth group or organization, you could probably get a fundraiser started fairly quickly. If not, I'd give it a few weeks to get your information outbefore you startreceiving responses.

2. With retailing the product, can I sell stores and shops?
Yes, you are free to sell to any retail outlet.

3. What training is provided for me in order to get started?
You will find all kinds of training resources in your back office, Team Support Groups (depending on who you join under) and of course, your sponsor will be your best friend while getting started. However, not all sponsors are the same, so I suggest talking to a few until you find the one you click with.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Please feel free to PM or email me.

Hi Mela!

You asked some great questions and Tracy answered them quite beautifully smileys/smiley17.gif

The training that is available from the company alone is wonderful, from online training (Monday nights) to telephone conferences. Each team has their own type of support in addition to the training available. For example,my upline sponsor has been with this company from the beginning. Heput together a forum that we all post on because we are all part of his team. He recently had to refurbish it, so we are starting it fresh. That's kind of nice in a way - fresh thoughts for the new year! Other teams do this as well. In addition to sharing ideas in their own forums, they also share things that they've used to help build their business. Maybe spreadsheets, flyers, etc.

The family atmosphere here is really wonderful and everyone does their best to help each other as we can! Tracy is 100% correct, you need to talk to a few people to find a sponsor you feel comfortable working with. Let me know if I can be of assistance to answer any questions as well.

Hi Tia!

Great questions. Yes! you can set up accounts in local business'. They can join as Candle of the Month members themselves or join as an Associate. Another option is to set up pricing, where they buy from you at aprice that you determine, then they set their retail price. Remember though, no chain stores like Wal-mart and such. Flower shops, gift shoppes, boutiques, and realtors will be great places for local contacts.

You will find oodles of training provided by corporate. Everything from documents in your backoffice toweekly training calls. Some teams also have additional training guides, team websites, online training audios, discussion groups and such.

Now is a great time to start a new business.
Best wishes in 2006!

Hi Ladies,

Thank you so much for all of your reponses here and your Private messages. I am reviewing it all and will get back to you all. I would say that I have noticed that everyone does things quite differently but I am hearing that the training is the same. I like that alot. That would mean that I COULD build my business anyway I want.

Thanks again for the information!

Thats the greatest part of this business is that everyone does things differently. You are able to build this business anyway you want too, if you choose to only do fundraisers you can, its all in how you want to build.

I wish you the best of luck and remember if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi Ladies,

Alright, I think I am ready to do this business now but do not know where to start in chosing a sponsor. I need to work with someone that is hands on. Can show me all the ropes? My goal is to have someone that can work with me one on one for a few weeks. I want to learn about fundraisers and selling the most as those will be my avenues. So I would prefer someone that has done these things.

Thanks in advance!

Mela

Hi Mela:

I'm sure any one of us would love to work with you. You need to feel comfortable with the person who sponsors you. Have you spoken to other distributors yet? This might be a good way to see if they are the right match for you. I would be happy to talk with you. You can either call me or pm me your number and I would be happy to talk with you.

Ditto what Barb said. You need to talk to several different potential sponsors from different teams to make the best choice for yourself.

Goodluck, and know we are here to help you in anyway we can.

Mela, I have not started any fundraisers yet, but I'm trying. I've found having a foot in the door is a good thing, and I've already worked on that. I have already spoken with someone about putting a proposal out fora large organizationin one of our neighboring counties, but since it's only in the proposal stage, I can't say I've done a fundraiser at this point. My strong point is definitely retailing face to face, and guiding/supportingmy team.

I would still be happy to help you along the way. If you are interested, just send me an e-mail to Sandy@SandysSpot.net and we can arrange to talk.
