View Full Version : All Good Things Come To Those Who Wait

I was just thinking about that phrase "All good things come to those who wait" today and I was reflecting on the time when I first learned about Soul Purpose while online searching for "Nadine Thompson". I had not yet heard about her departure from the previous company she was with.
I was excited and started telling everybody, I built alead capture page and advertised it. I attracted some fantastic people to me for my team and will continue to do so and I also reflected on the time where people were getting really concerned about the delays. Some people justdid not realize the definition of "start-up" andthat Soul Purpose was/is a start-up company. There were going to BE delays and some people even dropped out due to the delays.
Everything IS coming together and OUR opportunity with Soul Purpose is a GREAT Business Opportunity. I am looking forward to being home with my Daughter because I KNOW that is what Soul Purpose can do for me.
For all of those people who just could not hang in there, why? What's the real reason?Things take time. I guess expectations were too high? Now I am not talking about the people who just realized they could not work the business right now for personal reasons or other committments.
I am talking about the impatient people, the people who expected everything to be done "right then and there" so they could have it their way. I am also talking about people who let "little things" get in the way of their own goals and dreams whether it wasa problem with someone or something having to do with Soul Purpose.
I am talking about the people who weren't truly visionaries to begin with. Why couldn't they just wait it out like the rest of us did and are still doing as things continue to progress? I mean really, all good things do come to those who wait.
Comments/Opinions on this subjectwelcome, because I cram to understand.

In response, I think we live in a society that expects instant gratification. A lot of people have very short attention spans. You are right; Soul Purpose is a start up and not a company that has been in the industry for the last ten years. With a start up you have to expect growing pains. Everything won't be perfect. The people who are still around and building a businesstrulyare visionaries. You've done your jobtelling them about the awesome opportunity with Soul Purpose. You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink. The opportunity will always be there. If they chose to come back a year from now. Some people just prefer established companies. Just let them know that when they are ready to build a Soul Purpose business, you will welcome them back and offer assistance wherever you can.

I was thinking about this same thing Tanya! In response I was sent to read my daily devotion (yesterday) and it had a quote that said "The man who succeeds never waits for the crowd. He strikes out for himself..." You know that right there is the definition of a visionary. The TRUE Visionaries are those that don't wait for the crowd. I'm very happy for those that stayed because I know we will each be blessed beyond measure.
That also goes along with "seeing what's coming and jumping on board" and "seeing what's coming and moving out of the way". One person will get to experience everything firsthand while the other person will be left looking around wondering what just passed.

Tanya how did you build a lead capture page and drive traffic to it? I thought of doing that a few months back but didn't know how to build one or how to drive traffic to it.
Thanks for your input!

Hey Candace,
I basically looked at some I had already seen on the web. I liked Toni's version and wanted mine to also be creative and inviting. I basically took the information we already had, coupled with using my graphics skills (I am in no way a professional graphic artist) and love for web design (again, I am no expert in that arena) to create a page. I used an account I already had at moonfruit (which is fantastic for building websites by the way) and put it all together. When someone contacts me from it I get an automatic e-mail.
I at first started advertising online on social networks and discussion boards catering towards women of color. ThenI took it to Google adwords. That all seemed to work well.
Now I am learning about attraction marketing and I hope I can put it to good use to get more and more leads. Toni describes how to attract leads in her book "How to take a Quantum Leap in your network marketing business".
Along with Toni and Tara, I am also offering lead pages for anyone who wishes to have one. I made two of them (to choose from)complete with graphics and music. One caters to women of different nationalities and the other caters towards african american women and men. I am also thinking about creating a 3rd one that caters strictly towards our asian sisters and brothers.
If you have not seen the ones that are currently ready for use, feel free to visit my team website to see the samples:

The link is under the "Members Only" tab. I made it available for everyone to see. There are actually two pages....you'll see what I mean when you get there.Edited by: all4soulpurpose

Hey Candace, that's only if you want your own seperate account otherwise it would be on my account. You would just need to inform me of what changes you want made when the time(s) come.
