Experienced Transcriptionist Needed

Transcriptionist position available immediately for the right candidate. Assignments are distributed daily for 24 hour turn around time. Most assignments are up to an hour in length, though more experienced, speedier transcriptionists can receive longer assignments after proof of quality work is received.
The nature of the work is mostly non-medical focus groups. There are some medical groups, but medical transcription experience is not required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
-At least six months of transcription experience
-Proper transcription software and hardware
-Daily availability, especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
-Attention to detail
MOST IMPORTANTLY our candidate will possess an understanding of deadline importance. Late assignments are not acceptable.
The payrate for this job is $5 per fifteen mintues of audio, or $20 per digital audio hour. Payroll is processed on the 15th and 30th of each month. The candidate will be an independent contractor, will invoice the company, and will report and withhold their own taxes.
