My daughter is very creative. She makes most of her gifts. She doesn't sell any of here items. They are just inexpensive wonderful gifts for any occasion. Money is hard to come by right now so I give her credit for using her imagination to save money. She is looking for citronella wax. Does anyone know the best place to purchase this?

You will need to buy the wax and then add Citronella Fragrance oil or essential oil.

Thank you for your help. Do you know the cheapest place to get the wax from? Should she use a soy wax?

Have you tried your local craft stores? Not sure if you can get the fragrance from there too I order mine from Natures Garden and I live in OH. You can google candle wax and you get lots of places to chose from. I use Soy but thats what I make all my candles with.

Here is a website online you can look at. They have great products inlcuding the wax and oil you will need. When I owned my own company making candles, I used them so I know they have great products:http://www.buywax.com (http://www.buywax.com/)

Greetings,
Have her research the internet for wax options, there are many waxes to choose from.
Be sure she spends some time researching the fragrances as each oil blends in different proportions depending on the type of wax.

I own my own candle and bath and body business and have ordered from a supply company online that I adore. Try www.bittercreek.com (http://www.bittercreek.com) she'll also get some great ideas there too and there's an awesome message board that I love as well. Hope this helps!

Lonestar and Just By Nature are wonderful if you are in North Texas. There is also Taylored Concepts as well, but I have no personal experience with them.

Lol.. I've never had to pay shipping. I'm within driving distance so I never checked the shipping charges. You'll find that shipping is high with a lot of candle supply companies. Thats why its a good idea to try to find a local supplier first.
