Are you talking about general fairs and craft shows, or about "vendor blenders"?

You can list any type of event basically crafts, vendor blendors, fairs, festivals, ect.

I use craftlister and have done several fairs through them.. for DS, just limit your search to non juried fairs, etc.. Its a great resource and i've met a lot of great people

Amber how do you go about doing a craft fair?? i have never done one yet and am interested in the one in coventry area. how do i get a table?? and what do i need to no??

You need to call the promotor. Make sure that they allow Home Party Plans to set up at the fair. Find out how well advertised the event is. Also check to see if you need to bring your owntable or if it will be provided If you are satisfied ask them to send you a contract.


Fairs are not always good for high sales but are usually great for getting leads and parties booked. I did 8 of them during the Holiday season and it was a great way for me to get out there and meet people as I really don't know people from my area. It was also a way for me to expand my business to surrounding cities.


I have only booked two so far for this coming up year but will be booking more. I am doing the Balloon a Fair in Sept and I am doing the Christmas in July Craft Fair as well.


I know there are a few I did this past Holiday season that I will do again they just haven't confirmed dates yet.
