This company looks really interesting. I looked at the website. Are there any more reps to tell me what it is like personally working for the company?

I have not heard of it at all. What sort of company is it?

It is a gourmet chocolate company. The website is gorgeous(www.bodegachocolates.com (http://www.bodegachocolates.com)) . The chocolate is European and if you have ever had chocolate outside of the US it is excellent. According to their website they just started their Direct Sales Division in October. I was wondering what are the present consultants views so far on the company.

I know one person who is a rep for them. I'm shoo her over to the boards.

I joined Bodega in November. I have to say their truffles are amazing! lol


They have been in biz for about 10 years now, but just launched the DS div in October. They are taking "founding" consultants thru the end of the month.


You can promote the biz any way you choose. They do have a party plan in place, with a fundraiser plan being launched in the spring.


Several of their products are geared more towards meeting and wedding planners, as well as corporate clients for thankyougifts. You can have the ribbons imprinted with birth, wedding or biz info for gifts or clients.


The 3 gals that started the company are 3rd generation chocolatiers. They are using their grandmother's recipes that originated in Italy and Spain.


They offer 20% commission, with bonus available for sales.


Everyone that works with the company I have found very helpful and quite excited about getting the DS division off the ground!

Looks yummy. I was disappointed with the comp plan though, the highest you can earn is 22% on your own personal sales.


But I can definately see a market. I'd eat my profits! smileys/smiley36.gif

Yeah...I was not a happy camper over the max of 22% either.


But their is no competition, and if you planned on marketing thru the wedding/meeting planners, you'd be doing less work and getting much bigger orders!


for parties...I don't know! But I did talk to a gal about the biz night before last, and she and some friends had sold a ladies chocolate goodies that had a biz in their neighborhood. When they did parties they had sales of $700-$1000....so with THOSE kinds of sales....you could make some ok money.


But i think that unless you really wanted to pursue the planners that it might be a lot of work for not a lot of commission.


but hey..you get cheap yummies! lol

I wanted to introduce myself...I am Shanda and I have also been a rep with Bodega since Novemeber. I love the company and the products! The toffee is to die for. I also love it that while I am watching my Stars gossip on eXtra television show they advertise our company on their show. Nothing like a good advertisement to boost sales.


I had an awesome december in sales. It really sold itself. Our products are fantastically wrapped which drawls people in. Our corporate office has been wonderful to me. They help me with any questions I have. What is great about this company is how versitile you can be with selling these products. Women love the CHOCOLATE tasting parties. I have been totally happy with Bodega.
