What are you planning to do at your gatherings?

Let's get some creative juices flowing!

What are you going to do to make your parties fun?

I wonder if SP is going to come out with a guideline?

Here are some sites that offer great spa/bath/beauty game ideas:

Here is my plan!

I have started a relationship with a girl here that has her own business doing a mobile spa. She will be coming to my home and I will be offering the gals complimentary massages.
She is licensed, and does: nails/massage therapy/facials and more.

I will also do Gift Certificates. They are tax deductible and you will stand out. Get one or two. Give one out in a drawing, and the other on a game that you play. I think the guests will be pleasantly surprised when they see they won a massage or a facial!

If you decide to go out and do this, I would check the 3 Rs (made it up but wow it makes sense) Rates, Reputation, Relationship between the two of you.

Rates:
Nowadays the average that I've searched for their services is $1 per minute. Decide how much you want to invest. Example, the girls that are coming will all get 10min massages. So if 8 guests attend I will be paying the massage therapist $80. Also find out if she charges a fee to come out to your home.

Reputation:
Ask for references!! (another R lol) How long she's been in business, all that great stuff

Relationship:
Do the two of you click? Find out what you expect out of each other. You don't want any conflict in regards to how she is paid or what ever. Maybe have something written out. Let her know you appreciate her. You guys can help each other.=)

Also DON'T be afraid to ask for a discount for your first gathering with her. You are promoting your business but you are also promoting hers!!(or his) so maybe as a THANK YOU, she can extend a discount for getting her more exposure.

Lastly, budget! Only do what you can afford...my plan is to do this at every party. Gift certificates or have the lady come out or both. As I become more successful, up the ante! It's business. Find out what others are doing and top it. It doesn't have to be expensive. =)

Let's hear more ideas!

I'm still planning what I'm going to do at my gatherings. I have a couple of things written down but I DO know that I'll actually take them through a "Journey of the Senses".

I'm thinking for:

TASTE-- "foreign" finger foods ie gingersnaps, tamarind balls, flan, tea, etc

SIGHT-- beautiful ethnic display (with our products of course)

SOUND-- soft international jazz music

TOUCH-- our products (trying them on)

SMELL-- our products (candles, scent sampling)

Sounds fantastic! I haven't thought of anything extrajust yet, but I wanted to have our CT team get together for a meeting to feed some ideas off each other and perhaps do an actual party role playing.....I will be getting in contact with you soon about it.

I will wait until everybody has their kits and we can go through everything, ie the manual, products, the how-tos, etc. We have a few brand newbies (1st time in our industry) on our team, so I wanted to make their first exposure to a party with our group.
