Hi Everyone,

Need help. I recently lost my home phone service and in desperate need of one. My teenager ran up bill to 800.00. I attempted to get att but they require deposit. I need phone service asap, cuz of wahjs. If anyone knows of anyone home phone service/dsl service other than att or comcast, that don't charge to get started, please let me know. I am located in Nashville, TN.

Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks,

Lisa

What about Vonage? I don't know much about it but it might be worth checking out.

Try Global Conncetion. You buy the card at Krogers, then you go home and activate it. There is no contract. You get unlimited local calling and some free long distance, according to the package you choose. It's 59.99 to start then 49.99 per month afterwards, unless you are on Welfare, Food Stamps, SSI or SSD then it costs $10 less.

Cavalier is another company you can try. They are 29.99/month but not in all areas. Edited by: breezykewl

I use a device called the "Magic Jack". It plugs into your computer. It costs like $39.99 for the device plus one year of service and then its only 19.99 a YEAR!! Free local and long distance calls. I love it.

Lisa,

If you are still in need of a service check my sig. There you will find VoIP from $19.95/mo. and regular local & long distance landline service. Take a look around and you should be able to find what you need.
