View Full Version : Finding customers

For all the Arbonne reps here. I am all full of questions as I want to
make sure my wife and I find the right fit for us in a home business.
How hard is it to find customers for the Arbonne line?
In you experience has it been easier to find customers for the color products or the RE9 line?
Is it a good idea to point people toward signing up for a wholeale
account so they can get the discount and hope they will become a
business builder eventually?
How hard is it to find people to sponsor?
If we started with Arbonne, what products would you suggest we buy for personal use, and why?

Hi Mike~
I think you are asking really good questions. Here are my 2 cents:
I think if you and your wife are willing to work for you success, Arbonne is a great option. It is not a "get-rich-quick-scheme." It take perseverance, diligence and hard work. Everygroup runs their line differently as far as what products would be good for you to purchase at the beginning. I would recommend finding whoever you want to sponsor you and asking them some more specific questions about how their line functions as a team. Some teams work very well together as far as helping each other succeed. Others are more on your own. Do you have someone who is willing to sponsor you? If so, I would talk to them.
Hope this helps some.
Arbonne is a great business and you can succeed if you are willing to work hard and share Arbonne.
Best of luck to you!

Hello Mike!
I have found it's harder to get people to try a new product that some have never heard of. I give them a RE9 set, and let them sample it for a couple days. Then it's much easier, usually people love the RE9 set and want to buy it.
My experience has been that my clients start out using the RE9 and then want to try the color products. I do not keep all the colors, but I do recommend buying the foundation sample set for $7.50.
I give them the three options: 1. Client - retail price, 2. Consultant - 35% off and 3. Business buidler - starting your own business! I do let people know that they will get the RE9 set for $175 instead of $266 if they become a Consultant. I do have some people that want to pay full price, and that is fine with me. I do not give pressure either way.
It's not hard to find a Sponsor at all! I can be your Sponsor. My upline is wonderful and the support is amazing. Our NVP is a physican so she always has a medical point of view to the products.
We use many products. Basically you find products you use daily or would like to. My husband and I use the multi-vitamins, I just started on the Go Figure, I use RE9, make-up, shampoo and conditioner, my husband loves the shaving gel....there is so much more!! My son uses the ABC set. We LOVE it! Basically if you love the product, it is easier to sell!
If you have more questions, let me know! My email address: trulyswiss@myarbonne.com (trulyswiss@myarbonne.com) My website is: trulyswiss.myarbonne.com

Mike did you try the samples or listen to the CD I sent. These will let you know about which products to use and about the three ways to win with Arbonne. I personally find the skin care easier then make up.. Makeup hids where skin care fixes..
If you have more questions you have my email and my yahoo.

By using the drop off approach I have had no one say no!smileys/smiley9.gifIt's amazing.
Be sure to get with a group that you will move up quicklyif that's what you want.
I am building deep not wide. Big difference. ( I made Executive DM in 4 months)smileys/smiley2.gif

Arbonne Ethics is to go with the person who first introduced you to Arbonne. However, you should be happy with your sponsor and so it is your decision as to whom you choose as a sponsor.
I find that whatever products the consultant loves the most ends up being what primarily gets the most focus. I know some consultants who focus more on the hormone balancing creams than I do and almost every client/wholesale buyer gets the balancing creams. I don't focus at all on the creams and so, of course, I rarely sell those. I know a gal whoalways talks about the thermal fusion scalp and she sells tons of those, I don't.Almost every one of my clients/wholesale buyers gets the thermal fusion enzyme masque and the awaken sea salt scrub, because those (besides the RE9) are my favorites. I think if you focus more on color, then you will sell more color. If you focus more on weight loss, then you will sell more weight loss. Most consultants focus on the RE9 because the products get results and is a great boost of volume per set. This also depends too on what your client base would consist of (can they afford the set, are they concerned with anti-aging, do they take vitamins, know any vegans, etc).

No it is fine.. We meet on Cwahm and started talking. I know I am not home all the time to answer every question so it is great that he can come here and get questions answered. He just got my packet and I was wondering if he tried the samples and what he and his wife had looked at. It is great that he is researching so much. If he is still looking for a sponser maybe he and his wife aren't sure if I am right. Either way just here to help right.

I think I have made some people confused. Kim, if we decide to go with
Arbonne, you will be my sponsor. I am still researching which business
is the best fit for my wife and I.

It is fine.. I just was trying to answer the questions. I knew some of the info I sent would answer some of them. I understand you guys are still looking at MK and Arbonne. Good luck!

Mike, I think it's important you and your wife love the products. I know y'all have been researching a number of MLM companies. There are some great ones out there, including Arbonne. But I truly believe, in order to be successful, you must love the products. You will not talk to someone you don't know about a product you don't like.smileys/smiley11.gif
But if you love the products, you will tell everyone!!!smileys/smiley4.gif
Good luck in your search!

dkdummermuth - I need to apologize to you as well. When Mike posted on here several weeks ago, it sounded like he needed a sponsor so I sent him an introductory email (the usual stuff that I send out to prospects). I didn't realize he was already working with you......

I see he is still on the fence from the MK forum. I understand the hesitation, but sometimes you just need to take a leap.

I used to sell MK, and I still like some of the products. It is much harder in my opinion to make money with MK. The running around collecting checks and delivering products was too much forme. I have four kids and work full time in the schools.I bought from a family friend for yrs before I sold and she sold a ton! She finally stopped because she said it took too much work and time away from her family to make anything. She was constantly having parties, delivering products ect... I'm going to intoduce her to Arbonne! Once someone loves the products they can order, pay online, and have the products delivered to their door! (and not by me!) I still get the commission which is sooo nice.
