I know you’ve heard of “40 Days of Purpose” and “Finding Your Vision and Passion” and all of those things.
We’ve studied business books, self-help courses and written our mission statements. AND YET, we STILL aren’t where we want to be…WHY IS THAT?
Well, I’ve decided that our strengths as women also factor as some of our weaknesses.
We’re great at juggling and wearing so many hats - that we are very challenged to POUR FOCUS in any one area without feeling like we’re shortchanging something else.
RIGHT? (anyone still with me?)
SO - I have decided that beginning TODAY…I am having “40 Days of Fanatical Focus” You might want to join me!

I’m choosing one area of focus in FOUR KEY SPOTS. Health, Spiritual, Family & Business.
I’ve written down where I want to be in 40 days in these areas (measurable goals) and where I am starting today. I’ve chosen a couple of key things to focus on every day and for FORTY DAYS I am NOT going to be distracted.
Short term sacrifice = long term gain and I am consciously deciding to take the ‘route of Noah, not Moses!’
I have set achievable goals…but I will really need to be INTENT and LASER-FOCUSED to achieve them. I’m thrilled and nervous all at the same time!!

Haveyou taken ONE STEP towards your focus today? Are you allowing yourself to putter about, staying ‘busy with no purpose’? Be aware of those time and energy-eaters in your days!!
Sometimes it’s ok to say “No, I’m sorry, I can’t do that right now because that isn’t lining up with what I’m working towards right now. Can I get back to you in 34 days?” - - just kidding - you don’t have to be THAT specific…but you get the idea - NO IS NOT A CURSE WORD!

OK — HERE IS WHAT I AM SEEING…many of you are setting goals that say
“I’m going to sell XX amount of product during this timeframe.”
“I’m going to lose 24 lbs”
“I’m going to move into a new position”
“I’m going to achieve _________”
I hate to be the voice of reality - but you CANNOT CONTROL RESULTS and many times, you are setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment.
Set your goals to be EFFORTS-FOCUSED…
For instance:
“I will walk 5x per week and eat 1400 calories per day for 40 days” — NOW, the result MIGHT be that you lose 10 lbs, right? SUPER! But if you set the goal as “I’m going to lose 10 lbs” — without a stated FOCUS GOAL in Place…you are still NOT FOCUSED
“I will make 5 new contacts per day and book 5 appointments per week” — NOW, the result MIGHT be that you sell XXXX in product and recruit XX team members. SUPER! But, you cannot control the outcome of the effort - you can ONLY control the effort!
SEE where I’m going with that? Let us know YOUR EFFORTS GOAL, NOT your results goal. "
