OK, I had to share.

Last night Alex (5) was talking to daddy and me about what we do. He said, "Daddy, you fix cars!". And then he looked at me. "Mommy, I love that you sell Discovery Toys!" It is so great that he sees it as a real option, just like what Daddy does, and that he is sooo supportive. It really made my day.

Had to share!

How cute!! My daughter Mercy (3) always points at my pic of the Merecedes Benz (company car) and says mommy thats your car. We don't have one yet but she knows my wants one I guess. She also told her babysitter once to use the Arbonne (well she says it wrong) wash not soap.. The sitter didn't know and was trying to find the wash one night and asked her where the soap was.. It is cute!! I love kids.

How cute, Deb! I over heard my 10 year old daughter's friend
asking her why I had a crayon pin on my jacket and she answered "oh,
she works for Crayola, she sells craft kits". Her friend said
"Isn't your Dad a musician?", then her friend said "your parents
have the coolest jobs, my parents have the most boring jobs!"! I
think my daughter actually thought I was cool(at least for a few
minutes)! LOL!

From the mouths of babes!

My seven year old dughter, Haley, wrote the following: My Daddy is a Car Manager and he works a lot. My Mommy is a Business woman. She does Jewelry parties and dresses pretty. I wish Daddy could be home like Mommy.

That little paragraph has inspired me to do as much as I possibly can in 2006, so that my Husband cando Premier Designswith me Full-Time. We are getting close...I have faith that 2006 will be a year of growth for my group.

Merry Christmas!

I agree...when your kids LIKE what you do, you're headed in the right direction. My son tells his friends that his mommy writes books and her next one is going to be all about HIM! He can't wait to take it for show and tell!!

Yes because many times people think of what they like to do but when you have a family you need to think what they will enjoy doing as well. Because being in business you can't do it all on your own it's nice to makeit a family effort!

I'm with you Sheryl (Dazzle) :)

My dh works so many hours in a day. We have a large family and two to three incomes is necessary to feed all these mouths but I'm hoping one day that my team will be where it needs to be so that my hubby can work with me one day and not have to work 14 and 15 hours a day in a hot restaurant.

I love it when the 5yo says, "Are you going to work with a Home & Garden Party Mama?" smileys/smiley36.gif

Hi Nicky-

We have a large family, too. Six children...5 still at home...our oldest is 20 and on her own. I have been blessed to be at home with my children for the past 12 years. But my husband has had to work quite hard to make that a possibility.

I hope that I can return this favor to him through my company. Many husbands are involved with Premier on a full-time basis, and that has been our plan since the beginning.

When we drivepast a school my 4 year old will ask "Is that one of your schools mommy? " ( I do bookfairs/reading programs with schools, as well as homeshows/booths etc)

I have also been at an event (non- books) where kids have pointed and said "hey...that's the book lady!"

She also has gone with me to schools...so she will ask things like "Is that the school with the money" (there was a clear donation box in the lobby" or..."is that the school where I was really quiet? " lol

It really is fun to involve your kids in what you do!
