I just did an open house to start out my business... I have the flyer I used below. You'll need to edit it, obviously, bc of the certain "deals" i offered. Its just another idea. I looked online everywhere and took bits and pieces from each thing I found!

Kayla, that's a wonderful flyer. thank you for sharing. A question though. Where did you find these artwork, like the word "Escape?"

How was the open house party?

I made it all from scratch, actually. Instead of just typing, I "inserted a text box" and then tilted it. =) And then the boxes and star, was an insert a shape option. I have a mac, so I just used my regular word processor, but im pretty sure theres things like that on Word, and things. =)

Oh yeah, how it went>>> well, me and my friend are doing this together, every spa... so were able to switch off on who gets what station and things like that. And we had about 20 people come to the open house. There was no "relaxation time", since there is so many people, its hard to get them all to hush, lol... but it was fun. And yes, as they say, with a huge turnout, it can hurt your sales, bc everyone looks around and sees that theres so many people there, so "if i dont buy, they wont notice"... So, its true. We had about 3 ppl buy one thing each. And then one buy the IFL, and then another girl who is moving, bought 144. retail worth of things... so it really wasnt that bad... we didnt have to order much, since we had most of it in stock already, so that really helped!

Just be prepared. Oh, we booked 2 bookings that night.... we had a "rewards" type thing, for the "hot date" they picked.... Im pretty sure thats the only reason they boooked. lol. Oh well.. their this next week!!
