Hello all, it has been awhile since I have had a chance to get on this site. I first want to say Congrats to Kari and Lisahttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif I was in Ohio and was supposed to relocate to South Dakota (Hello Debbie!) Well because my daughter had health issues that Doctors in South Dakota could not take care of we got orders to Minnesota. We just moved in March and it is still an adjustment. I have really been trying to get going, but in a new area that I am still unsure of is very hard. I have really wanted to sign my DIQ and I found out that the requirements were waived for April and May.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif I am praying that this is where the Lord wants me at this time and place. If anyone has any ideas about where to start in a new area I would appreciate this very much. Also, we have had our home in Ohio on the market for awhile and it has not sold. We have about 2 months of mortgage payments saved up (April and May), then we are sunk. I really want to make DIQ and go to the top. I love the support this site gives and I will be on and off of it. The reason that I can't get on all the time is the internet is too expensive right now so I use my neighbors when I can. I wish all of you support, happiness and success. God Bless, Nicole

Hi Nicole,
It's good to hear from you again. Moving is always an adjustment but BeautiControl gives you a reason to go out and meet people. Plus, now you have a whole new city of people to focus your business on.
You could start with your neighbors. Introduce yourself and offer to come by and pamper them and a few friends?
Good luck to you! Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Hi Nicole! I was wondering what happened to you! So glad to hear you have moved and are all settled in...so sorry it wasn't in my neighborhood of SD, but I understand! I know you will quickly make friends there, and that can be a great way to jumpstart your business, but in the meantime, how about work spas and teacher appreciation spas? You don't need to be well known in your area to start these, and it's a good jumpstart. Did you do any of these in OH? If not, there are some great hints on this board, as you know!
Take care and keep us posted!
Debbie

Hey my Nicole,
Glad to see online again-even if it isn't everyday! As said above-make use of your neighborhood and make up a flyer about having a "getting to know you" spa. Invite 4-5 of your neighbors over and do an informal spa-just like they say to do in the beginning-do a "pop the box" spa! You can also contact the Apartments like we talked about and offices. But I would start in your own neighborhood-your next recruit could be right next door to you! Someone who needs BC just like you did!
Good luck on signing DIQ-you will do great!

Check out the www.barrettteam.com (http://www.barrettteam.com) and look under work spas-they have some good letters on there that you can look at and change if need be!

I poked around the website -- it was quite interesting and informative, but I didn't find the work spas area. Where did I miss it? http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif
