View Full Version : canceling order

What does everyone do for clients who want to cancel their order after it has already been placed? I have a client who wants to cancel her order we placed yesterday b/c an emergency came up (we have all been there!) She wants to reorder after the 1st. But, I have tried to do this in the past and was told once the order is sent to the warehouse, it can't be canceled. It would have to be refused upon delivery and then returned. The $$ wouldn't be credited for a couple weeks. Well, this doesn't help her situation now, and I definetly cant, and don't want to, pay her back myself. So, should we as consultants pay back now and wait for Arbonne to compensate us if customers change their mind? I don't think we should, but I want to knowhow everyone else handles situations like this.

if it hasn't shipped yet (or gone to warehouse? from your earlier experience), call 1-800-ARBONNE

Hi Barbara,

I agree with Cassandra, Call Arbonne to see if they can stop the order. Her card was already charged, so I don't know how long it will take to get credit back on it. Or did she pay you, and you used your card? Not sure what type of emergency she's facing, but Its such a short time until the 1st, I would think its unlikely credit would be received before she says she wants to re-order. Either way, I probably would not give hermoney (unless she paid by cash or check?), I'd let Arbonne credit her card.

If you can't front her the money until she can reorder, talk to
your upline. Perhaps they can help you out. Because she
wants to order again so soon, I'd just hold her products until she's
able to pay. Of course, if she's not able to pay when she says,
you can always return the product to get payment.
