Do any of you actually use the Hydrating Mist? I know plenty of women use it a spas, but do you use it in everyday life? It seems like a gimmick to get people to spend money on a bottle of smell-good water.

I use it all the time...I personally like a dewier look with foundation, so I spray it on my sponge before blending...also use it to cut in with some of the thicker lotions..also use it on my face after the gym...my mom loves it too...her and my dad both use it on their wind chapped faces after a day on the motorcycle or on the boat...she has sold bottles to almost everyone in their motorcycle club!!!

I use it mostly as a refresher in the afternoons. It helps perk me up and my make-up looks fresh again too.

Hi. I use it everywhere. On my slacks or skirt to get rid of static cling, on my daughters curly hair in the morning to refresh her curls (plus it makes her hair so super soft), spritz on my own hair midafternoon to revive my hair product, on my face anytime I need a wake me up, on any part of my body that is dry and needs hydration, and on my daughter whenever she starts to show any sign of a diaper rash (goes away VERY quickly). This is one of my personal favorite products cause it has SO many uses.

Wow, I really had no idea how useful it is. Thanks for your responses.
I'm really interested in learning how others use the hydrating mist. Please post more uses!

I spritz it on my face after I apply my makeup to help it set. And it also feels really good on a sunburn!

I love the HM! It is one of my favorite products. It is much more than good smelling water. In addition to the repair and prevention products we use, skinhydration isvery important and one ofthe keys to looking younger. I use it for the following:
~ When you travel, it is great to hydrate your skin on an airline. It refreshes you when you are on the umteenth hour!
~ After application of foundation/powder, I spritz it on to set my makeup. It gives your face a very fresh look.
~ It is great when you are out in the sun and perspire. Your skin can feel tight after perspiration, as it is depleted of hydration. HM works great.
~ It is great to keep in the fridge, for women who experience hot flashes.
~ I use it to cut through many products that may be thicker to apply. Especially, the Sunblock SFP 30+. It just make application smoother and more even.
Our pricing on the product is great, compared to what is out in the marketplace. Evian has 5 oz for around the same price as our 9 ounces of product. Many other brands sell a 'makeup fininshing' product that is similar to HM anywhere from $18 to $36.
There are some great suggestions on this thread, so try some out and see what you think!

I love it! In addition to what the others have said, I spray my face with it
before applying my moisturizer. It helps lock in the moisture.

Where can I get a small sprayer for the mist for using on an airplane? I didn't see any small ones at our local walmart

I picked one up at Walmart. It holds 2 oz, I believe.
There is section in the health/beauty dept. that has travel size stuff.

I use it every day...I spray it on my face before applying the cell block-c (the thicker lotions like mentioned above). I showed this trick at a spa a couple weeks ago and sold 4 bottles! I've never sold any before, so that was awesome for me!
Also, while in Mexico last week, my whole family used it daily and it really helped with minor sunburns! We were there for a wedding, so LOTS of family and my bottle was passed along throughout the rooms just as a refresher or for sunburns or just about anything! Everyone was loving it! lol

It's awesome. so much better than Evian! I mostly use it to set my makeup but it's nice to refresh my hair and skin before going out at night.
In the spa I use it after relaxation. I pass it around to let people spritz themselves to wake themselves up. I spritz myself first so that I can demonstrate how it can be used over makeup.

Well I had checked Walmart, Kmart, the military exchange and couldn't find a small spritz bottle (only the larger ones) I finally found a 3 oz one at Target! I've never seen it there before, so I'm glad it was there tonight!

I watched the Image video from BeautiNet at a team meeting once and she suggests using it to spray your makeup brush before applying eye shadow, blush, etc. Works great! My makeup looks fresh and stays on longer.

I thought it was gimmicky, too. Until about a month ago. My husband has an allergy to plastic that causes him to get sudden rashes in random places, at random times. We were watching tv one night when his calf became unbearably itchy and red - not sure what triggered it, since he had pajamas on. In any case, I remembered a woman at BeautiU who shared that she'd been turned on to BC when she had a horribly violentallergic reaction to a blast of perfume that caught her on the face. She said HM calmed her skin and instantly stopped the swelling. So....I ran to the bathroom and ran out, waving the bottle. He reluctantly submitted to the spray and darn it, 5 minutes later he looks at me and says, "Wow. It absolutely worked. Make sure you keep it on hand!"
I also use it after I use hair-removal or bleaching products. I have extremely sensitive skin around my mouth and nose and the mist really really really stops the reaction I always used to have. It's quite wonderful!

I keep a spray bottle of HM in the car within reach. On days when I feel quite drowsy driving I spray my face and perk right up. Someone suggested it at BeautiU and I'm very grateful!
There are some wonderful suggestions here. It would be terrific if they were transferred to the "unusual uses" thread. Would anyone mind?

Great ideas!
It's awful but I always forget about it.
I tried the suggestion today of spritzing the brushes as you apply make-up and I couldn't believe how well my make-up stayed on.

The Hydrating Mist is now one of my favorite products. I have a bottle on my desk at work, and on my nightstand at home. I spritz some on my face when I wake up (after I hit the snooze button and throw some eye pads on for 10 minutes until the alarm rings again). I spritz my face several times during the work day. And I use it at my Spas to 'wake up' the ladies, after we've done the eyepads and relaxation exercise. And with the price, the ladies buy it up. I never thought of selling it to my motorcycle groups, I will have to start carrying a bottle with me on rides! :-)

I love the Hydrating Mist for my HOT FLASHES!!! I spritz my face and neck and it cools me down (I keep a bottle at my bedside for those nasty nite sweats too) I also use it to set my makeup...and for a pick me up whenever i feel i need it.
