I just completed my application for Sol and am afraid my nervousness was probably evident in my phone interview. I'm sure I wouldn't be that way normally, but knowing that the decision is made based on that one recording can be intimidating! Does anyone know if they're even hiring and what they're looking for specifically in an agent?

Lind, dont worry about that phone test. I was so sure I failed mine..random babble and tripping over words..that I wasnt expecting much. So a year later when I was contacted for an interview I was thrilled. So the long and short of it is, most eveyone feels like that darn phone test was a bust..so relax!
Secondly, they hire in spurts based on new projects and need of specific skills for the client. Most are customer service based but they do handle several travel projects, which is the one I work currently, so any GDS experience is a plus. Make sure you highlight any Cust Svc experience on your app and try to go back in with you password and updatee your app frequently as this seems to throw you to the top of the virtual pile.

Just finished my phone interview with WSOL. I too was very nervous and it was incouraging to come here and read that I am not alone.
Need work as soon as possible but it looks like this might take awhile but thought I would try it anyway. So we will see what happens

Hello Newbie here. I just did my application for them andI was so nervousI yawned and accidentally hung up on the test. When my hand came down it hit the phone. Tam I'm so sorry that happened. If you explained what happened maybe they will let you try again.
Here's hoping they will. I know I was very uptight because I had no idea of what questions they would ask.
