For those who asked about breaking ties, I'VE TRIED! I thought I had last time because she was not happy in my "tone" and made it sound like she was planning go go elsewhere.
I need to email her directions. How's this?
Hi xxx--
I have talked in depth with Home Office about your situation. They are mailing you a "ship to" form, and have asked that you mail them back both items (Flexiblocks and Money, Money) for them to inspect. Then, based upon their conclusion, you will be reimbursed.
You will need to include a copy of your post office receipt. If the items are faulty via Discovery Toys fault, they will reimburse you for your shipping via regular mail.
You should get the "ship to" forms within the next week.
When I looked back at the orders from you, I see no record of "Money, Money". This item to you has not been purchased via me since April '04, in the last 20 months.
Merry Christmas,
Debbie

Sounds pretty good. Maybe you should add something about finding another consultant. I think you did at another time, but maybe you need to reiterate. Obviously this lady is clueless.

When you wrote "When I looked back at the orders from you, I see no record of "Money, Money". This item to you has not been purchased via me since April '04, in the last 20 months" Add, This is why the office will be handling your request.
I would put in something as the last paragraph like,
Please make sure to ship these back to the DT headquarters as soon as possible so this matter can be resloved.I am sure that they willresolve thisfor you quickly.
Good luck!
Chris

Thanks Chris for the feedback. I sent it yesterday. I did add:
I have talked in depth with Home Office about your situation and return history.
So I'm hoping she will see that what she is doing is unusual, and if she is out to take advantage, we are on to it.
We'll see. Though I really wanted to se her duct taped game board! I can't imagine, I have it and am trying to picture it.

Poor db! You are nothing but nice and that is to your credit. Unfortunately, she thinks she can take advantage. I am glad you are trying to shut her out of your business!! Pat yourself on the back for all the patience you have shown her so far!! You are one classy lady!

For sure, Debbie, you have shown much more patience than I would have shown in the same situation.
Now that you have referred her to corporate, are you going to disregard any further emails or phone calls from her? I just hope this nightmare is over for you.
Some day you'll have a great time re-telling this story. I know it has already been funny to watch and read the comments. LOL
Thanks for sharing,
Brenda
