Soooo many answering machines and hangups! I did get some rather nice people, though.
AND - what is up with people getting called multiple times per day?? IN 2 hours I must have had at least 4 people tell me that they were called more than 3 times in one day. Is this a fault with the calls not being coded correctly? Or the dialer? Two ladies were nice about it - others were not.
So is every shift like that? More answering machines and hangups then live people? They said we are supposed to code at least 50 live calls in 4 hours - do all the hang ups and ans. machines count as live? Cause in 2 hours I think I had at least 50 calls between the ans mach and hang ups alone! Edited by: fawnmommy

It all depends on what time of the day you're calling and what account you're calling. Some days are better than others. Plus, anytime you call near a holiday, people won't be at home as much.
By "live calls" they mean contacts or calls that you can code out. Hang ups and answering machines don't count as live calls.
Ithink you'll find things go better this week, although if schools are off for spring break, the contact rate might be a little less than normal.
