Does anyone on here have a testimonial AND pictures (other than the ones that Arbonne sells) for the Clear Advantage). I have a customer, who I previously serviced with another skin care, who has a lot of problems with acne. She is in her early 20's, but she refuses to try anything for longer then a day or two! I gave her the CA to try, she tried it ONE TIME, said it broke out her face really bad, and she refused to continue to use it. I explained to her that it takes a while. Her skin did not get that way overnight and it is not going to clear up overnight. Sometimes things will get worse before they get better due to the fact that all of the impurities under her skin need to work their way out, etc, etc. I have had this conversation with her so many times, but she just will not cooperate. She is getting married in 3 months and she is afraid that if she tries something new, her face will be even worse then. BUT she is willing to go and spend $500 for some kind of peel where she will actually have a layer of skin removed. Anyway, she did want to know if just taking the CA supplement would do anything to help her. Any suggestions??

Hey Sandy! This is one of my least favorite areas of selling skincare - acne. There are so many different reasons for acne and every person is different. Is it hormones, personal hygiene, too many toxins or all of the above! She is definetly not going to see results w/ just 1 day or even 1 month use. For my younger clients I suggest the CA and they MUST take the supplement. Acne is mostly an indication of something wrong on the inside. For my adult clients usually over 20, I suggest any other line, basics or RE9 w/ use of the CA supplement. I use the RE9 w/ the supplement and love the results. I would think for her age, keep in mind that I am NOT a dermatalogist, the CA supplement would help greatly along w/ drinking lots and lots of water and regularly cleaning her skin w/o stripping it and drying it out. Many acne clients dont use a moisturizer b/c they feel it will break them out more. This is actually the opposite. Your skin will overcompensate for being dry and produce too much oil. So basically, I would suggest she take the supplement, along w/ drinking plenty of water and maybe using the detox tea and colon cleanse to help rid of toxins along w/ using either the CA line or basics.This will probably break her out more at first, but she should be cleared up by 3 months. I am a firm believer that acne is b/c of too many toxins within from our diet and the junk we eat on a daily basis. I have had many clients w/ acne just rave about the thermal fusion masque. Much cheaper than a $500 peel!

Tell her to stop using anything with mineral oil asap. What she doesn't do may break her out too (she'll start to detox), but if she starts now she'll look much better by her wedding.

she's acne, so more than likely she thinks she's oily and therefore in her mind she doesn't need moisturizing, but at the same time her skin thinks, "I need moisture,so I'llproduce more oil"smileys/smiley5.gif... smileys/smiley18.gif so then she's wanting products to "dry her up" and won't understand the whole "you'veGOT to moisturize" thing.... it can be very difficult.


so let's get to the causes and the why's


hormonal? spot treat with prolief!


diet? clear advantage supplement, daily detox, optimal digest and drinking plenty of water


excess sebum? skin care regime- thermal fusion enzyme masque, extra strength masque, coupled with either clear advantage or RE9 or a combination of both

I have always found Kelli's pictures of her cystic acne to be extremely compelling...
