Hello Bunnies! How do you all market your business? Has anyone bought the car magnet? If so, has it helped?
I haven't really worked my Country Bunny Biz yet....told friends and family, but that is about it. I was thinking about putting some little baggy's together with a catalog and samples to hand out, but the catalog is too big for the party bag baggies I have. I have done this for my White Lily Candles biz, but it all fits perfect inside the bag. I also have a car magnet for WL, but so far it hasn't brought in any additional business. I am not interested in parties, craft/expo shows, gift baskets, etc. I want to figure out a good way to market for individual sales. Any ideas are appreciated. smileys/smiley2.gif

Shannon,
Try the summer mailers. It's only 10 cents and can be folded nicely in half to show the suncare line on the front. It is only a summary of the products, but it does say "To request a full size catalog, please contact you rep..." You can affix your label to the back as you would on a catalog. I love the mailers because I can fit them in my purse instead of carrying catalogs everywhere.

The .10 mailers are a good idea.
Also, I have the CB decal on my car window. It is $10....I think its been good to at least get people familiar with the business.
I know you said you weren't interested in parties, but how bout ONE big one to get you a business boost? It could be an open house at your place or something. That way you get people who order and then later you can call them to see if they need to re-order.
Once you get the goody bags together, you could see if you could give them to your church (or a local one) to give to all their new moms.smileys/smiley32.gif

Thanks Ladies! I like the mailer idea...didn't think about that. Those would be much easier to fold up and put in the baggy. I plan on handing them out to people I already know, or people that I meet. I don't go to church, but I did meet a lot of new moms at my sons baseball. So far two of them have ordered candles from me....after I gave them a goodie bag. smileys/smiley4.gif I know this will work, just need to get them made up. I will have to go order the mailers.

smileys/smiley1.gifWe actually do a weekly open market spot. We also do fundraisers, craft shows and other events. Networking has also brought us leads. We have yet to do a home show. We have managed to develop a downline. Matter of fact, one of our downline recruited their first rep today! We'll be with CBBB for a year in August.
You might want to consider joint venturing. We have a promotion with a local massage therapist. When our customer purchases a Lotion Bar or Shea Body Butter Tube, they receive a free hand massage. She displays our product on her work table and recommends it to her customers.

That's a great idea Rona. smileys/smiley17.gif
I have a friend that's a massage therapist and
comes to my shows with me on occasion. Anybody
who places an order of $35 or more gets a free hand
or shoulder massage and a coupon for a full
massage from the therapist at a later date.
I build sales and she builds a client base. It's a
win/win for both of us.
