Hello! I have never tried Beauticontrol, but I have had friends sell it in the past. I am becoming desperate with my skin. I just turned 30 this year, and I feel like I have a teenager's skin. I have dry skin, which I assumed meant I wouldn't have problems with my complexion. I have tried several different brands, and I just continue to break out. Any ideas on what sorts of products that Beauticontrol carries that might help me out? You can PM me or send me an email. I would appreciate it! Thanks!

We use a skin care sensor along with a questionaire to customize the right skin care products for your face. I will also send you a PM with more information.

Have a great evening!

I also wanted to let you know that our make-up, is non-comedegenic( I believe that is the word) and that mean it will not clog your pores.

I talked to a client on Wednesday that told me she use to get breakouts all the time and she is in her mid 30's. She started using our All Clear line and our wet/dry foundation and she said it took care of the problem. My Daughters pre-school teacher uses it as well and loves it.

Good luck to you!

Thanks to everyone that has responded! I'm noticing that since my stress level has dropped significantly (I resigned my teaching position) my skin is returning to its normal self. I am still interested in trying this line to see if my skin is "happy." I have very sensitive skin, so I have a difficult time finding skin care that isn't harsh or breaks me out like a teenager.

Thanks again!

Jan,

Just to let you know, we do have a sensitive skin care line that is very gentle. I have quite a few clients that are use the line and have not had any problems with break outs. Stress is a major cause of blemishes.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Janet,

Hi, I also wanted to tell you a lot of our consultants are teachers and nurses. Theylove our products and sign up to get discounts and some do a party a month.

It gives them an oppurtunity to make extra money or to save money on products. If you are ever interested let me know. We have the most wonderful company. BeautiControl is very supportive and I have made some great YA YA sisters through the company.

How's your diet? Dry skin is a sign your sign your diet is not good enough. If you are suffering from acne - best thing you could do is fix up your diet and forget about it. Fruits and vegetables (lots of it) can actually work wonders if people can stop believing that some miracle product can cure their skin.

That's not true across the board. Hormones, climate, and environment play a tremendous role in your skin's condition.

That said, there isn't a miracle product out there that can just magically fix everything for everyone. What works well for one person may not work at all for another, or may irritate yet another. And by the same token, simply eating plenty of fruits and veggies won't miraculously cure everyone's skin problems. It's just PART of the equation.

I agree fresh veggies, fruits and fiber, a good amount of protein can help immensely, but also,it is good todrink lots ofdistilled water,if possible.

But there are alot of contributing factors to unhealthy skin besides dieting( the Receptioniststhat works for my Chiropracter was telling me her and her brothers had real bad acne for years, and she they ate good for you food. She uses another skincare line that cleared up her skin).
Could be: environment, smoking,or second hand smoke, city you live in and the smog, etc, cleaning products you use, hormones, alotof what Spagirl said is true.

But.... the Skincare you use can help IMMENSELY in clearing up these issues, products that are formulated for your skin type and the way your skin is acting.

Hope you find a skincare line that helps you both!

I also agree with the fact that eating well and drinking lots of water isn't all it takes to have clear skin. Take my husband for instance. When I met him, he was vegan, drank TONS of water, ate well, etc, and had terrible skin. He was on prescription medication from the dermatologist, and it wasn't doing a thing. Not only that but he was washing his face twice a day, it just wasn't doing anything for him. I got him started on All Clear and Regeneration (and made him throw away the meds), and his face was cleared up almost completely in just a few weeks.

If you're not eating well and all those things, your skin will probably suffer, but it is a combination of everything that effects it.

And one other thing, sometimes you break out due to something in a product. So I would look over everything you've used and look to see if there are common ingredients, then look those up to see if they cause problems with other people.

One piece of advice, if I may. I started using BC back in April. I have oily skin on my face, except for my cheeks, which are always dry. I tried ALL of our skincare lines, and they would work fine for a week or two, then the oil would pour off my face again. I finally found a combo that worked for me (20s scrub and face wash, Clear Tonic, and Sensitive Calming Fluid). So, don't give up if it doesn't work right away. See ifthe person you are working withwill be willing to sell you the mini skincare sets to try, and mix and match - I have done that for myself and2 otherclients now, and was able to help them find the perfect combination. Good luck!
