I was just scrolling through and noticed this folder - is this new?
I just started in insurance in January of this year. As of now, I just have my p/c license, but I'm working on my health and life license. I did have it, but I let it lapse, so now I have to re-take the test.

I don't know, I am guessing so...but I sure am excited that this folder has become avialable. I am trying to get licensed only in health insurance and am interested in working from home enrolling people into medicare. I am presently doing research to see if there is in fact companies that will hire you from home to do this. I also am in the process of getting medical coding certified as well so I know this would be a great compliment to add under my belt.

There are tons of companies that allow you work from home while selling insurance. Most want face to face appointments to close and capture signatures, but many will allow you to do it over the phone. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Wow, I just noticed this folder, too! I am not in insurance but I work with agents on a regular basis.
It's great that you can all share ideas and tips with each other here.

I used to sell life coverage as a broker. I specialized in mortgage protection. I was appointed with 8 companies. I did that for about 6 years. I hated the traveling and chargebacks, but loved the commissions and free schedule. I don't miss it one bit. I tripled my insurance income in a year with my current business. Best of luck to everyone!

I just noticed this folder and will be telling my team about it. I'm not a licensed insurance agent, but our company - and my team -has many insurance agents that offer our plans to uninsured, uninsurable, underinsured, or even those that can't afford the high rates and deductibles.
This folder is really great - a nice place to share tips and ideas. Whoever started this folder - thank you!
