Does anyone else ever get spam phone calls from folks visiting their consultant websites?

In the past 30 days I have had atleast 3 spam phone calls. I do use caller id and screen my phone calls but these phone spammers are getting smarter.

They will now call and leave me a voice mail message stating they are interested in my business.

When I call them back, I find out it was a ploy. They just want to pitch their business to me...ugh, its so frustrating!

So now what I have been doing when it happens I tell them, "After you give me 30 minutes of your time for me to pitch my biz to you, I will listen to your presentation" LOL They now hang up! hehehe :)

I keep my phone # on my website as I get several phone calls a week from recruit leads, party leads and customers...but these phone spammers are really getting on my nerves!

I have not gotten them and I hope that I don't! I can't believe people do that. But I like how you guys handle it so if it does happen, I know what to do!

I get them from time to time. I generally don't answer the phone (and then it's a spam vm) or I take the call, hear what it is, say that I'm not interested, and hang up on them. I have no tolerance for that type of stuff (emails like this too; I get those from time to time).

I got a number recently from GrandCentral andjust put a number on my site recently. I haven't gotten any sales calls yet. I don't think they would like what I would have to say if they did that to me. :)

I am nice about it and have to remind myself that we are all in business for ourselves, that we all have families, bills, mouths to feed etc. I say I already have a home based business and good luck to them and have a great day. I guess it would be the Pay it forward theory.

I have tried being nice to them in the past and it usually doesn't work. They are usually pushy and mouthy with me and instead of just hanging up on them, I give them my sales pitch right back, then they hang up on me LOL

I think its a dirty tactic. I understand folks have bills to pay and money to be made, but I don't think its right to call me, leave a voice mail message that they are interested in TW and need to place an order.

Then when I call them back, they have no order and just want to pitch their biz oppty to me. I don't have time for that, I am a busy woman.
