Hi, Sweetie! There is at least one post about the Magic Jack itself and its performance down on the Network Marketing board. That might help!

Skype doesnt give me enough minutes a month it has a fair usage of 3000 so do note that they no longer do unlimited plans. I dont know about the majic jack seems neat there are good and bad reviews on it.

Thanks. I saw the Magicjack post but they were basically talking about how good or not it was. So that's why I asked the question about using it for a wah jobhttp://wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

My friend tried the magicjack and sent ity back the first week. It was crap. Most work from home companies require that you have a land line phone, because VOIP phones are so unreliable. If you Internet goes out, your phone goes out. At least with a land line andthe internet goes out, you will still be able to assist you customers in some way.
There are a few companies though that will allow VOIP. Some even prefer it. I have a Vontage line that has been excellent thus far. No complaints at all. I also recently recevied a flyer from T Mobile where they're now offering home phone service with a service similar to Vontage and it's only $10 per month. You will have to pay $50 for the modem you need, but other than that the service will only be $10 per month.
