Ok, so I had my last hostess cancel her class for Dec. And I was going to post under the other thread about cancellations but I got to thinking that I'm focusing on the wrong thing. smileys/smiley1.gif
Some of you are already aware that I've recently started with a new company, so I don't need to go into that for this post. smileys/smiley2.gifWhat I would like to talk about is our goals for next year. Some of us made our goal for 2005 and some didn't. Congrats to everyone who did or is going to and for those who didn't...2006 HERE WE COME!!!
I am working on my first goals already. I am building the team hopefully by the time we go to open enrollment, I will have my first line in place and helping them build their teams.
Mysecond goal for starting this new adventure is to be able to purchase a brand new NICE laptop computer (also my firstbig tax write off smileys/smiley2.gif).I want to be able to do that within 3 months of starting to do parties (We start in the end of April/ early May). That will be a HUGE help when doing opportunity meetings.
My next goal is to be making a car payment and my 2006 big goal is to be making my house payment. This is a goal that my husband can totally support me in. LOL He says he'll go to part time. LOL What a motivation to get me doing even more parties. LOL Just kidding...I love him very much. Just making fun at his expense.
So, those are the goals I have in place so far. I'll smaller goals I'll set myself each day, week and month. But these are the bigger goals I'll have my eyes set on.
I would love to hear what you all intend to acheive next year. Let's get a running start on 2006!!!
Merry Christmas,
Brenda

Brenda,
I have to tell you that I have been going through a LOT of re-evaluation
lately. In order to explain where I want to go, I need to say a little about
where I am coming from right now.
I recently gave up a very lucrative career in skin therapy in order to be
home with my 16 year old daughter, who has a medical need to stay
home and have home instruction. A trade I gladly make for her future.
Hopefully, she will be better, and then be able to join her regular classes
in her junior year next September.
I am slightly gun-shy after recently deciding that I could not live with
selling for a comany who has a policy in practice I cannot tolerate.
Deciding to join Taste Of Home Entertaining is something I cannot just let
go by without evaluating it's potential...
So, here are a few modest goals.
#1. To build a strong and lasting business organization with a top-
quality product offering coupled with a commisson structure that rewards
those who participate at any level.
#2. To participate without hype and bs (I've seen FAR too much of that in
this industry), not to be confused with genuine anticipation, and cautious
hopefulness...
#3. To buy a new car, and a Blackberry.
#4. To assist my team to build security for themselves, and their teams.
All my best,
Nondy

Best of luck to you both!! Starting something new is always exciting! I amazingly made my goals this year and beyond, even with a VERY slow start!
I've posted my goals in another thread so I won't rehash them here!

Thanks Nondy. That sounds terrific. And I think it's very smart of you to really evaluate how this company is going to work for you. I think that's important.
Does anyone else have some goals set for next year? I'd love to hear them. smileys/smiley1.gif

I have a Blackberry and it is GREAT. I love being able to read my e-mail wherever I go. It helps that my dh works for T-Mobile and I get it for free :) Actually I think they are having a deal right now where if you sign up for T-Mobile service, you can get a Blackberry for nearly free.
