well i have been hit. got one of those so called do a mystery shopping job check. this is sooo stupid. it is so sick that people prey on the weak. thankfully i am one that is always cautious and apart of this board.
i am going to take this to the bank it is suppose to be drawn off of and report it as well!

There was a mystery shopper in our local paper that got scammed. She was sent a check for $3650 and then sent the guy a check back for $3040. She is out the money right now. The check was no good. Why would you send a person money back? The guy is out of Long Beach CA and name is Nicholas Davis.

I know it is sad and sick. The bank told me thankfully I was smart enough to know. Now I have to take the envelope..etc to the PO. The co. they use is a legit co., but they are just scammers using someone elses co. name.

I know lots of mystery shoppers that make good money but they do the previews for movies mainly. The rest are only getting $20 per visit. NARMS has a few and they are legit.
