Hi!
I was going to sign up to create a family book, but it looks like they have a membership fee after the first 30 days? I didn't want to sign up and find out afterwards.
How does this work for customers?

Hi Debbie,
The fee for a LIFETIME account is $19.95 but if you sign up for the 30
day free trial and purchase any book before your trial period ends, we
waive the account fee and your account becomes permanent forever with
no other account fees! Basically we don't want to keep free accounts
open ended and in the data base etc, unless they are being used. So if
you try the system and like what you created and order it, then your
fee is waived totally. Does that make sense?
I'd love to help you make a book! I love what I do and it's so fun to see the ideas that other people come up with!
I've been dying to hear how your Psycho customer saga is going.
Hopefully still quiet !!! Keep us posted! It's our little soap opera on
here!!
Feel free to PM me offlist if you have any other questions about HM!

Thanks Le Ann! I'd like to do that too. But I better wait until things calm down so I can get it done in 30 days. :-)
I still haven't heard back from Pscyho customer. I did email my friend who is the next closest manager to her with a heads up. But I haven't heard from her either.
I always love how people want something for nothing. One of the toys she admited was a gift! She's had it over a year. smileys/smiley5.gif

I'm SO glad she's staying QUIET! You are the nicest person and you certainly don't deserve to have to deal with this woman!
Just a heads up. You don't have to create the book in 30 days...book credits are good for up to a year from date of purchase and are kept in your account either as an unstarted "credit" or a current project etc. So you can purchase it now, and work on it at your leisure. You can log in for free and create your account, and start working on a book now, but at the end of your 30 days free, it will ask you if you want to save your project and continue working on it and if you say yes, you would just 'purchase" that book at that time and keep working on it but your account would become permanent and free when you pay for the book credit. Does that make sense? I'm up to my eyeballs in books myself AND trying to get my customers done! I'm sure that selling toys you are busy at this time of year too!
If you'd like, we could always "trade" or barter product to product. I have 6 kids and I've always loved Discovery Toys but I haven't seen a catalog or product for years! I'd happily give you my snail mail address to get a catalog from you (or are you guys online now?) and trade you toys for book credits....let me know!
:-)
