The other day, while at my brothers basketball game, I was talking to one of the football coaches. We, of course, are good friends because I graduated from that same high school. Anyway, we are all standing there talking and he stops the conversations and say " Are you still selling candles?" LOL....I told him of course I am. I did not have any brochures on me because I road with my sister over to the game. Well, it just so happened that she found a brochure in her car to give to him. It was meant for my mother but forget to give it to her. Anyway, another coach was standing there with use when we were having this conversation about the candles.

So today as I was making my way over to the high school for my brothers game, my sister calls me and says, " Do you have any more brochures in your car." I told her that I did not and would go back to the apt to get some. Well I decide to take everything I had to make up my brochure packets to the game. When I got there, I was meet at the door by the coach that had asked my sister for a brochure. smileys/smiley4.gif I told him I had it. He smile and said he would get it from me sometime before the game was out. So I told myself up the stairs and made me some packs.

Let me tell you how good it felt to make them while watching the game. The coach finally got his brochure with sample bag. He was happy and I was happy. Both coaches plan on ordering a few candles from me for their wives for the Christmas. smileys/smiley1.gif

So, I tell you all this to remind you to always be prepared. I will certainly be from now on. smileys/smiley36.gif

This is so true, I am asked when I least expect it - I bought a bigger purse and I keep my brochures and sample scents in there. I plan on bringing the presentation cd also from now on.I just put the cling on my truck window so I have to be prepared.

(now from the sample swap I made up a mini sampler from a tiny photo album book only .87 cents at walmart.-I just paperclipped the samples inside the plastic so the scents don't cross. Works great!)

LOL...I am glad I am not the only one this has happened too. It was a lesson well learned. I will always have something on hand. Whether it is business cards or brochure. Something will always be in my purse or truck!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
