I need to know why products do what they do. I've had the question asked why use a toner? Also I'd like to just be educated in talking to my clients and recruits. The product knowledge section of the website doesn't say exactly what each product does.

Hi Wendy! Check out the sell sheets inaddition tothe Product Knowledge. They often get more in depth about what the product is used for and what it does for the skin.

For example, on the RE9 sell sheet, the Toner section says: Convenient, pH correct, toning mist removes final traces of cleanser and restores balance for maximum moisture retention. Visibly tones, firms and smooths skin’s surface while key RE9 elements protect against oxidative stress and environmental aging factors.

The business aids tapes are excellent. They can be found on the business aids forms and most are about a dollar.

I highly recommend the product knowledge CDs (they come free with the
business pack, but I think they are like $12 on their own) for every
consultant. I lend a set to each new consultant so they can hear
more about the products than I tell in my presentations. I am
trained as a scientist, so I really appreciated all that Arbonne does
to research and develop our products and how careful Arbonne is in the
claims they make so they don't break any laws or exaggerate the
benefits. Customers can feel assured that our products do what
they say they will do.

I also recommend the Basic Consultant Training CDs. Most of them
are available in the Learn N Burn section, but that involves quite a
bit of searching and burning of CDs. The set is inexpensive and
has fabulous information to build your belief and confidence as well as
give you tips on running your business.

Cheers,

-Beverly

FYI--a toner balances the skin to its proper pH, constricts the pores,
and prepares it for the moisturizer. Most toners are made with
isopropyl (SD40) alcohol, a very drying ingredient. Some even
contain acetone. Ours have a witchhazel base, distilled in water,
not alcohol. Big difference. If people don't like to use
toners because they say they burn, have them try ours. They don't
burn.:) HTH!
