Hello all, wondering if anyone can help me clear something up. Just a little confused I guess. I am an Executive District Manager. I promoted a DM outin October. This month, someone in her downline has sponsered 2 new consultants with orders. This is not showing up in my volume. I know that since I promoted her out, she is her own district, so does that mean that anyone under her, their volume does not come to me? I thought I would still get some of her volume becuase she is my 1st generation district. Does anyone know? TIA.

You will still get paid on that volume, you just won't be able to see it because the both of you are DMs. It doesn't matter if you are EDM or not.

This isnt how it was explained to me at all, nor did it work out this way.
In November, I was still a consultant, my sponsor was DM, and her sponsor was still DM, both are friends of mine. I promoted to DM in Nov, however thats doesnt matter in this scenario :)
Anywho, The top Sponsor DM got the volume from all of my sponsor and her downline...I was told then when you are a EDM, you can take 10,000 volume from each DM leg to help you qualify for Area, the rest must be from your Central District.. As stated in the success plan on arbonne.com..
" Maximum $10,000 Retail Volume from each 1st Generation paid as District Manager’s entire SuccessLine, excluding volume from 1st Generation Districts’ promoted out Area Managers, during the qualification period. If your 1st Generation District Manager promotes to Area Manager during your qualification period, the $2,500 Pick-Up Credit is included in the maximum $10,000 that may be counted over the qualification period."

You as EDM have your own Central District to maintain ($2,500), your promoted out DM is now your First Generation and has their own Central District to maintain ($2,500). Your First Generations volume will not count for your Central District. You will not see their volume inyour district. If your first generation promotes a DM, that DM will become your Second Generation. You will only get paid overrides on a Second Generation if you have Two First Generations direct to you. For qualification, you can count a maximum of $10,000 over the entire qualification period from each of your First Generations. I'm not sure about the pickup credits and what all that means, but if your first generation reaches AM before you, I think that's when the pickup credit comes into play, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. If you reach AM before your promoted outs, then they will again be counted in your Central.

Thank you cassandra, better explained than mine :) yes that how i understood pick up credit to work as well, only if someone you sponsored promoted out before you, you recieve the credit to help you back up as well. Your 1st gen DM does not count for your central district volume, but can help you in promoting out.

another side note, in case anyone is panicking about maintaining their Central District volume.... everytime you promote you get a 2 month building period during which all of your central volume gets put into your performance account. This also happens everytime you promote someone out, you get another 2 months building period (meaning you do not have to do your maint. requirement). Your performance account can be looked at as a sort of savings account. After your two month building period, everything that is over your maint. requirement (DM is 2500) gets put into your performance account. Say you have 4500, then 2000 will be added to your performance account. Say you have 1500, then 1000 willbe takenout ofyour performance account. There is no limit on how much can be put into your performance account! smileys/smiley4.gif
