I am auctioning off some handmade Christmas Cards that I made, and
received an email asking how much I would charge for 150 cards for next
Christmas. I am floored!

I have no idea what to quote her- this is just a hobby for me and I was
hoping to come up with a little extra cash for my DD's Christmas
presents.

I don't want to scare her off with a quote that is too high, but I also want
to recoup the cost for materials and make a little profit for the amount of
time it will to take me to make them.

These cards are paper piecings with heat embossed images and brushed
metallic gold card stock with metallic cord embellishment. My materials
are all archival quality and I use the best card stock and materials
available. (Mostly SU!) What would you suggest? I normally charge $2-3
per card when I sell them individually or in small sets.

This is SO EXCITING for me! THANKS SO MUCH for your help.

Joyous & warm holiday blessings,
--Kitt

I would add up the cost of materials and then add to it whatever you want to charge for your time, then compare it to the cost of other cards online. You want to be reasonable but at the same time you don't want to not make any money, your time is valuable and if she is wanting handmade cards then she has probaly already priced them other places to.
