I've wanted to do a mother-daughter class & offer getting started specials, but haven't yet.

I think a girls night out slumber party for good friends is fun - bring your products & let them try on their faces, feet etc. Play cards & have a few glasses of wine - or hot chocolate!

I have incorporated foot spas into my parties and people are really enjoying them.I try to keep my "talk time" down to less than 15 minutes, and let the guest enjoy the foot baths while I have them use the RE9 set. As far as being profitable - you never know. Each party is different w/ different guest. I just try to keep them relaxing and fun and get the product on them. I just had a party a few weeks ago where the youngest lady was around 45. Every one else was like 70. Yeah, we partied all night!smileys/smiley2.gifI would focus on a few products, let them try them and try not to overwhelm them with the entire catalog.

I got the foot bath idea from here and another arbonne board. I bought 1$ plastic dish bins from Wal-mart and filled them w/ little stones/marbles also bought from Walmart. I fill them w/ hot water and add a 1/2 scoop of our unwind bath salts. I have the guest wash their face w/ the RE9 wash, and then grab their foot tub and relax while I pass around the other RE9 products and explain each benefit. When they are done soaking I follow w/ the herbal foot cream and sometimes the sea salt scrub if their feet are really bad. (I have been using the pampermint set for the holidays).Whether they use the RE9 on hand or face, you really want to get the product on them. If time allows, I also pass around some of our holiday products to try and smell.

People seem to really enjoy the idea of a "spa party" rather than a "skincare presentation." My sales have increased since doing this.

Do you get resistance to trying the product on their face? I would think most people wouldn't want to wash their make-up off & leave w/omake-up. What's your experience?

I have actually had no problems w/ this. Most people do the face route. I always say before we start that for those who never even let their husband see them make-up free, they are welcome to try it on their hand, or maybe just the eye cream and lift. If someone is a bit hesitant, everyone else usually talks them into it. I bring the makeup for those who want to repaint before going home, but most of my parties are at night so they are glad to already be ready for bed.smileys/smiley2.gif
