Hey everyone!
Do any of you hold parties in your own home for your hostesses? I've done this twice and it has worked out wonderfully. Both hostesses would not have hosted because they didn't have the room. I offered my place and they were thrilled!
I have a playroom / office in my house and am trying to figure out what to do with it. I may turn it into a "party-room" ifI knew it would be used frequently.
Do any of you do this? What about on a regular basis? Do you have a room devoted to your parties?

When booking, I give them a choice - your place or mine. I have a room specifically for this event and this works out great. Actually, I just set up a folding table with chairs in a room that already could be considered a family room. This extra room does not interfere with my family in the other rooms!

This isn't an option for me. My work home is in the country. No one will even come out this far for my own parties/open houses/ sales, etc. smileys/smiley5.gif

Seriously,it is a good idea - you can also offer small refreshments if they bring at least X amount of guests.
