Hey all,
I've seen cars of consultants with other companies with window clings and I thought that would be neat to promote BC and also to "share with the world" that we are BC consultants. Does anyone know if we can get these somewhere?
Thanks,. Deb

Hey Deb! I think your director should be able to get you one. I got mine from my director anyway.

Thanks so much! I've never seen one! How much did it cost?

I believe they are $2. I got 2 from my Director about a year ago or so. I have one on my car and one on my door at home.
Have a great day!

My director gave mine to me so I'm not sure, but I bet Vicki's right. They couldn't be too much.

I e-mailed my director and said they no longer carry them

Would you be willing to see if your director has any more? Maybe my director just doesn't know.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi there,
Normally, I do not agree with purchasing direct sell products on ebay, however, I have seen these window clings on ebay, and since they seem to be unavailable through the company, I do not see a problem with purchasing them through another source.
Some of the prices seem high, but there are some auctions that could end up beingfairly reasonable.
I was under the impression that we could not advertise on our car. When I was reading through the consultant guide, I was pretty sure it said that we could not advertise on our vehicle. So I am a little confused. smileys/smiley5.gif Anyway, if someone could clear this up for me, that would be wonderful.
Thanks, and have a great evening!! smileys/smiley1.gif

Deb, I think she only bought what she needed and gave them away. I'll see if she knows if you can still get them though.
Lisa, I don't remember reading that anywhere in the consultant guide. Of course, it's been awhile since I've read it through. But it seems strange that they would have been selling them if they didn't want us putting them on our cars. Let me know what you find out though. I may be doing something against policy! smileys/smiley9.gif

Hi Amy smileys/smiley1.gif,
I just checked through the consultant guide again, and if you look on page 6.10 under signs and banners it reads "The name BeautiControl is prohibited on signs in residential or commercial locations and on cars, including any association with your name and career level title, except for company-badged cars." I am not exactly sure what company-badged cars means (possibly the Mustang or Lexus program). The only reason why I remember this, is because I saw a woman advertising her direct sell companyon her car, and I thought it was an awesome idea, so I researched our company policy on advertising fromour vehicles.
If BC produced a window cling, I would think, however, thatyou could use the window clingin your car (that would be the best place for it.) Maybe I was just reading too much into the policy. Please let me know if you hear otherwise.
Thanks,

Hmmm, that's interesting. I don't knowwhy they would provide window clings if they didn't want you to actually use them! Ha! Maybe that's why they quit selling them. Or it could be that if it's something purchased directly from BC that it's ok. I know that if you design your own ad you have to get approval from the company to use it. Anyway, thanks for the info!

I really think the car advertising refers to the big car magnets. There is a BC window cling on my window and I know a lot of my consultant friends also have them on theirs. I got 2 from my Director and she told me to place one on my front door so that delivery people see it! Yes, I get a lot of deliveries!
Have a great week!

Thanks Vicki smileys/smiley1.gif,
That totally makes sense! The car is such an awesome way to advertise. I just wish we could use our name and phone number along with the window clings.
Anyway, thanks Vicki, for clearing that up for me!

I don't need my name and number on the cling; I don't even want this for advertising, but I think it is nice for people to see who the consultants are-be careful how you drive :)-and other consultants can smile and say, oh there's another BC consultant - and clients who use can say, oh look, there's a BC consultant. It's nice to see them out and about. That's all :) No need for advertising, just for comaraderie :)
