Question for those of you who have retail outlets selling your candles on consignment:
Do you have a contract that you use? Also, come tax time is that considered my inventory or accounts receivable?
I have a flower shop and a beauty shop that are going to sell them for me on consignment and just wondered about this.

Hi Debra!
Have you thought about presenting this as a wholesale opportunity for
these
businesses? That way you could make residual income on their purchases
and build your downline. I have a few great word documents for doing
this-
one is a letter to propose the opportunity, and the other is a contract
template for doing wholesale with businesses. LMK if these could help
you.

The shop that is consigning will collect tax for their tax purposes, but i am not sure the definte answer on that. I would email charlie at charlie@scent-team.com (charlie@scent-team.com). He will get you the answers you need on that!!

Hi, I already proposed the opportunity, but I think they want to play it safe first and try it out this way. If the candles are selling like mad I will bring it up to them and let them know the $ they are missing out on.
