hi all!
i am taking a flash class at the college (it rocks by the way!) and of course am now able to get student discounts, woo hoo! they are deeply discounted and I've had my eye on CS3 for a while, at least photoshop, in design and flash. But i love fireworks and use it all of the time, even more than photoshop. I can purchase a package without fireworks or add it on for just one hundred more. i already have fireworks 8 though. Anyone use both and see a huge difference? Would it make sense to go ahead and add it on now or should i stick with 8? I'm just wondering if there is such a big difference that i need to have it.

I just bought the CS3 suite and I don't see it worth it to get the upgraded Fireworks. 8.0 works just fine and there aren't enough perks to justify the money. Just my two cents. :)

thanks! I am glad to hear it. I just got my new programs in the mail today, (didn't go with fireworks) WAAH!!! I'm so psyched and guess what, my stupid computer doesn't have enough RAM to install it-plegh . . .I wanted to play around some tonight.
