Today has been beyond surreal. I posted on Working Mother all about it. Here is the linke! Hopefully I'll be chosen in the next couple days and I'll let you all know if a plane ride to Chicago is in the works :)

Shawna,
That is so great and exciting for you. We will be waiting to hear how it turns out.
I am not sure if the rest of you designers get how exciting this really is for the rest of us as well. Because when Shawna is on Oprah, it will not just be Shawna, but UB that is on there and we will all benefit from the exposure. So for that, I would like to say "Thank you Shawna for all of your work towards this. You rock!"

Thanks so much for your support. I received this email yesterday from the Harpo rep....
Hi Shawna-
I am actually just making calls now. We actually just mapped out the
format of the show and unfortunately we aren't going to get a chance to
work together this time, but we really like your story and so we are going
to hold on to it. Please tune into the show on Wednesday though because I think it will be great...AND good luck with the pregnancy.
So the show is actually this Wed. and in my current condition (32 weeks prego) it's probably a blessing I didn't have to fly to Chicago but I'm excited that they are still interested and hopefully you'll all have a chance to tune in anyway!
