I have my first promising local meeting today for a new distributor! It sounds like they may be working the business offline, but knowing the community they live in as I do, with the right contacts, they will be a huge success! It's a father/daughter team and he is already in business for himself with plumbing/plumbing supplies with a store in town. I meet them today and will be taking the printed application with me.
I did let him know that he will still have a website out there available he can direct people to go to in order to view the products and I can help him get that set up.
Does anyone have a distributor on their team that works strictly offline? He thinks his daughter does have internet access, and if so I will work with her over what she needs to do. He says she does all his business for him - which is why they will be doing this as a team :)
I am extremely excited about this contact mostly because of the community they live in. It's a very old, very close-knit type of community where everyone knows everyone. Having an established business there already, once he gets word out to local friends, I do feel that it will explode for them!

I met several in his family! It was a really nice visit. As it turns out his daughters do have internet access and will be reviewing the site. I handed them brochures and the print out from the website about the Candle of the Month program. They loved the candles and the idea of that retail profit. I showed them the jars I had, the pillars and Bella Buns. They will be reviewing the website and he said I will be hearing from them so I will let you know how it pans out :)
