Okay, here's the real question! I tried to post earlier but got kicked out of the server. Looks like things are working...

Has anyone figured out ratios of oil to perfume base to make smaller samples? I've been asked to work a 10-year-old girl's birthday party, and the mom wants each girl to take home a 3 ml sample of their signature fragrance in the bigger sample vials, not the smaller perfume samplers. Mom will pay me a set fee per girl for my time and supplies, since it is time consuming to make up a dozen individual fragrances.

Just wondering if that has ever been worked out. I would rather sell the 2 oz. bottle, but at this point I'm still just trying to get my name out there.

Thanks in advance for any help!! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley10.gifEdited by: TLCFragrance

Tonya,
Check out our Yahoo UBtopnotesgroup and in the files sections Karlene has posted a "placemat" for each guest. It has the ratios for a normal fragrance ie; if your fragrance has this many drops then your x factor is___
perhaps you can use this as a jump off point for you (and maybe Dana to help if you need it- I would).

Thanks, Sandy. I was just wondering about smaller perfume amounts. The x-factor is worked for a 2 oz. bottle to equal 150 drops. In a 3 ml amount I would need to work out a new x-factor. That is what I am wondering.
