One thing I like to see is pictures. Pictures of events, and putting names to the faces.
Mary Kay has a group on unitnet.com and most of them are password protected, but I think Sherill Spellman or something like that isn't. Some of these websites are a little too flashy but I do like glitter.
Also one thing these Mary Kay sites have is pictures of the products, I would like to say "the latest" but sometimes they are a quarter behind. color and sparkle, but that's just me, I am known by my name Princess Glitter-Gloss.

PS What I do like about this site is that there is a lot of helpful actual selling information. I am so glad that the top ladies are beginning to have websites like all the top MK ladies.

Welcome to this forum. I would like to see detailed information, such as the notes from "2008 Success" meeting that Elizabeth did for us. Many of us do not have Unit Meetings that we can attend. I live in NC and my director is in another state. She, like many of the directors have consultant/units all over the US and cannot hold local meetings for all her stray personal users and individual consultants with small units (I have 3 consultants). Without this forum and finding web sites for some of the directors with large units, I have been limited to information that I receive from the Achiever and BC web site. For example, without this forum, I would have never known there was a Unit Ordering Code for January and that the deadline to receive 55% of the entire order was January 14. I like seeing the recognition part of the web sites. It is nice to see those who have had high sales and lots of recruits. But it is very important for us to receive the "ideas, suggestions and how-to's" that we need to work our business.

SPA and selling ideas for upcoming holidays. Post the ideas with enough of a window for the consultants to get ready and promote prior to the holiday.

Sarah Lilly I cannot believe your director didn't email you with the codes, etc. My is right on top of the latest things and I get several emails from her each week.

I'm sorry to say that I rarely hear from her and she doesn't return my telephone calls. But, I also suspect that she is overwhelmed with all that has gone on in her life in the last 4 years or so. I know that she has had at least 3 major moves, had family losses and continuing health issues with close relatives, joined BC just 3 or 4 months before I did and has promoted out several units. I don't know how many units or consultants she has in her total units, but I expect it is over 300. I know she has unit meeting in 2 states, because I see them posted on our unit information - but as far as I know she doesn't have a web site. She is a very special person and I do enjoy talking with her when I get a chance. This whole business is suppose to be so we have control of our lives and time so we can work the business around family time, but I really don't see how directors are able to do that. Seems to me that there is always contacts to be made, deliveries to be make, emails and phone calls to be returned, orders to be placed, and on and on, etc.
Finding this forum has been a life saver for me as far as BeautiControl goes and also my personal life. I have received so much valuable information and now with Paulette Britt and Dianne Tompson's web sites we will be able to get the most up-to-date information on BC to help us with our businesses. I feel like all of you are my best friends and mentors.

Hi, Ali! I am also on Dianne's team. I have been to the website several times, and I would love to see the information about how many hours you should work at each level (like Saraylyn Ostwinkle and Angie Barrett have posted), as well as information for "potential" consultants, like what comes in the kit, with pictures. I know we can access that on BeautiNet, but it would be nice to have a place for them to look it up, since it is not on BeautiPage. Marie

Hi Ladies,
Thanks so much for all of the great ideas! Just to let you know, we are working on adding the following pages:
*Success 2008 - Notes, pics etc
*Be a Product of the Product - product info and possibly reviews of new products
And also, there are Valentine selling ideas on the consultant page under Holiday Ideas. There aren't many, so please feel free to forward me anything you have at BeautiByAli@yahoo.com. I would LOVE to add them.
Also, I've just downloaded a bunch of new data from various sites, including the hours to work per level from the Ostwinkle site that I'll be adding over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the Consultant, Leader and Director pages for new items.
Lastly, on the home page, there is a flier down towards the bottom called Beauticase Content Recruiting Flier that shows all of the products that come in the beauticase.
Have fun and enjoy!

Hi, Ali! After I replied to this, I logged on and found the beauticase contents sheet you're referring to. I would actually like to see something more along the lines of the flip cards picture, with details about the cost for each set (20s, 30s, 40s, 50s+, All Clear and Sensitive) and the totals for each. I think that would help potential clients/consultants realize the actual value that they're getting! Also, I don't think that flier shows all the products that come in part two...it seems like it was missing some of the makeup, etc. Perhaps a list of what comes in the case could be included? I know there is a flier like that on BeautiNet now, but it doesn't list the values. Just a suggestion.
Thanks for adding the work hours, and keep up the great work! Marie

Hi Marie,
Glad you found the document. After reading your response, I went in and looked at and yes, we marked the makeup as a set, but only used the eye shadow picture. I have since removed replaced those pics with the set pics so you can see the blush, eyeliner and lip pencil and lip colors too and updated the doc on the site.
Also, I LOVE the flip card idea for a breakdown of the case. I will take your idea to Dianne and see if she can spin some wheels with the folks in Dallas.
Thanks!
Ali

Hello Ali. I'm assuming that we are free to print documents on this web siteand use these documents as needed. I joined our local Chamber of Commerce and went to my first meeting yesterday. There were about 100 people there and a few of them had hand outs from their businesses. I'm looking at the Beauticase Spa Escape Triofold Brouchure as a possible handout for the next meeting in February. I haven't checked the prices on this brouchure, but I believe they have been updated. I see the picture of the "old" Cell Block C and am wondering if that should be updated. I checked on having it printed and it is out of my price range, so I guess I'll do them on my ink jet printer.
Do any of you have any suggestions for handouts, that I can print.I would like to do something different each month. I wish I had taken something promoting valentine's day gifts yesterday, but I didn'tknow what to expect.I can send emails to all theChamber members, butI have to send it to the Chamber Director first and if approved, the email will then be forwarded to the members.I don't think I'm ready to take enough product guides for everyone. I did take a door prize (lip balm and 1 oz hand cream) and will probably take a door prize each meeting.

Hi Sarah,
yes, you are absolutely free to download anything on the site and use and update it for your personal use. I do have word versions of the Beauticase Trifold Brochure if you'd like it. Then you can update any of the prices and pictures that you'd like. Simply send me an email at BeautiByAli@yahoo.com with a list of which docs you'd like in MS Word version and I'll send them over. Alot of the fliers need to be updated with the new prices, I just haven't had a chance to get to it yet, so I apologize.
You can also check with http://sircooper.com for your printing needs. They only charge 18 cents for a color copy, versus like 50 cents for my local staples. Or they do B&W copies for only 4 cents. They do a beautiful job and you can get them really quickly.
The BeautiCase Content Recruiting Flier at the bottom of the home page is a good flier too. If you want to print them in bulk, I would suggest taking off the Special price and putting in the $250 price, then you tell people the special price when you give it to them. That way your print outs won't expire and you can use them month after month.
Have fun and thanks for the reply!
